    You haven't seen a Revenue Racket until you've driven through Hitchcock, TX. 6300 people, 2400 households, 12 cops and a 5-mile stretch of I-45 between Houston and Galveston in their jurisdiction. Strangely, the speed limit on that portion of I-45 was 45 miles per hour the entire time I was in college and at any given time four of those police officers were running a speed trap on one of the overpasses there.

    Here's hoping that they pay more attention to the food and drink options that AFK Tavern. I'll have to go check them out.

    To be honest, I am not a fan of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. The first Amazing Spider Man was not bad; I enjoyed the effects and was honestly happy to see them cover a new villain instead of the Goblin who is iconic but now pretty trite. The problem is that Garfield is much to hip and happenin' to be Peter Parker. Toby McGuire managed that *so* much better. (No arguing, however, that Spiderman 3 sucked rocks. McGwire sucked as Venom.)

    I'm there and involved in three of the RPGs. The rest of the time will probably be board or card games of some kind.

    I live in a wood. Do you think that counts? It's supposed to be snowing above 500' so I am not sure I want to spend tomorrow in a tent.

    I tried giving 8th another chance last summer and wound up going in there to get some information and look at things that were not in stock up at Games and Gizmos. The service was terrible. High pressure combined with a lack of attention to the questions that the customer actually asked. I can understand getting rid of the floor space for gaming tables but given that the rest of the store was not helpful I agree with Munkie.

    Welcome to Pot Bowl I, home of the mellowest fans in football. As a 'Hawks fan I gotta say though... I didn't really feel like we deserved to be in that game until Kapernick self-destructed in the fourth quarter.

    Also, keep in mind that the charge must actually be possible. No declaring a charge at something 36" away just to get them to flee off the table.
