  1. Yep, I've got Fiendish Codex 1 and Players Handbook 3.5. I also have Book of Vile Darkness, but I think I'll hold on to that one, heh. Are you only buying? Any fantasy stuff to trade by chance?
  2. Recieved my shipment today! Very happy with the turn around time, considering I placed my order last Tuesday. You can see there's a little bit of a gap, but about as good as can be expected for the price, IMHO. And how my fist full of Tallymen have a place to call home ;)
  3. I know I have one of the Fiendish Codex books (Demons one), I'll check if I have anything else when I get home.
  4. Is there a schedule up for this? Start time, round times, lunch, ect. Looked around, maybe I'm missing it?
  5. Hey all! Just wanted to give a quick shout out to anyone who might be looking for new movement trays / bases for a new 9th Age project, I recently ordered a load of stuff from Warbases.co.uk and were pretty happy with the result and prices. Until now I had mainly used GW modular movement tray systems; they were alright, but as someone who liked a "tight fit" of my units in their trays, it made the 20/25mm guide lines on the GW trays pretty useless, as once you put the lip / corner pieces on, you were adding way more room to the tray. I ended up re-messuring / re-cutting all of my stuff, and it worked out, but was kinda a pain. I looked at stuff like Mantic, Litko, Tectonic Crafts, and Back 2 Base-ix, but thought they were a little more expensive than I was looking for. I almost went with Shogun metal movement trays, but I already had a bunch of magnetizing stuff from old 8th Ed. projects and wanted something with a little more of a lip around the tray. Final settled on trying out Warbases, and their prices seemed the lowest. I ordered: 4 125x50mm trays 1 200x80 mm tray 1 160x80mm tray 1 140x120mm tray $22.13 shipped from the UK. This when post-Brexit, although the Pound was valued higher vs. the Dollar as it is currently. Very happy with the trays, for the most part. A few of the boarders had become separated from the tray bases in transit, but was an easy fix with some super glue. Have since ordered movement trays / bases for my Daemonic Legions army from them and am currently waiting delivery. 6 trays and 100+ bases of various sizes for $33.29 shipped. Biggest complaint is there were no skirmish movement trays available, at least not in any useful configurations, and nothing for 40mm skirmishers. Also max size was a little limited for my Zombie + Cadaver Wagon unit, but they supposedly do trays of custom sizes, so I guess I could have asked. Anyone else have any recommendations for tray providers that they use? I'm kinda hyped up on 9th Age, always interested in finding more hobby options
  6. Hey all, like the title says, I've got a new plastics Bloodthirster on sprue. The toungue bit fell off at some point, but otherwise the model is NOS. Interested in trading for: -Undead! Zombies (Mantic preferably), Varghulfs, Vargheists. -Necromunda! Looking at picking up some Cawdor, maaaaaybe Goliaths. -Nurgle Demons (deal eveners preferably) Plaguebearers (plastic), Plague Drones, Nurglings (plastic) Thanks!
  7. Hello there! We're looking at having our next session the Tuesday after next, the 19th. Drop me a message if you can make it and I'll give you the details :)
  8. Very much looking forward to it! Got to dust off the Ogres yesterday, felt great to play some proper fantasy again. Excited for 2 days of games with great people ☺
  9. To piggyback on this thread, I had my first game of 9th Age with valourunbound today, his Vermin Swarm vs my Ogre Khans. Great game, had a lot of fun! The Doom Blade made short work of most of my army, heh. Failing a stubborn 9 with a reroll for my Great Khan didn't help, especially when it lead to my Mercenary Veterans panicking away from the middle. Looking forward to getting some more games of 9th Age in, as well as OFCC!
  10. I'll be picking up my ticket tomorrow morning when my paycheck drops, barring any unexpected surprises. Is there a minimum number of players needed to assure the event fires off? While in scenic Vancouver, Washington, be sure to visit one of our many beautiful Applebee's restraunts! ...The Hilton is also a 10 minute walk from the Tap Union Freehouse, which has some pretty tasty beers ;)
  11. Hey all! I was wondering if anyone had picked this set up and could answer a question: does it include all the options from the Crypt Horrors box? It says it comes with 6 Crypt Horrors and 3 Crypt Flayers. Would I be able to build 6 Vargheist and 3 Crypt Horrors out of the box? Considering I need these and the Varghulf, the box seems like a great deal, even if I don't need the Ghouls or the Terrorgeist. Thanks!
  12. On this side of the river, Dice Age should have some space available; they have Infinity, Saga, and Open Gaming on the schedule for noon, so I would guess we could probably grab a table; I don't usually visit there on the weekends though, so can't make any claims to how busy they may or may not be. Couldn't tell you how things are on the Portland side, although there's always table reservations at GG. I'm happy to make on inquiry to Dice Age about Saturday availability, or see about reserving a table at GG
  13. Hey all! Like the title says, I'm looking to get a practice game of 9th Age in this weekend. I've actually yet to play a game, so I'm hoping to find someone who doesn't mind a "noob" adjusting from 8th to 9th stumbling through the rules. I can bring a smaller practice force, or I can bring my full 2500 OFCC list and give you a practice game too :) I live in Vancouver, but happy to travel to Portland area. If at all possible, the earlier the better (prefer noon or 1); Fireworks + dogs makes it a crappy time of year for my pups, so would like to get home while it's still light out. Saturday or Sunday both work, although Saturday would be preferred. Thanks! -Andrew
  14. Excited to see this progress! Very cool idea. If I wasn't such a slow painter, I might be tempted to do something like this to help kickstart my VC army I'm putting together, heh.
  15. Submitted my list for OFCC! Decided to stick to models I had available. Feel pretty happy about it; all this leaves me to paint is 4 Iron Fists and some highlighting on a Sabertooth Tiger and Kin Eater. Lords Great Khan: General, Great Weapon, Bluffer’s Helm, Talisman of Greater Shielding, Scepter of Dominion 290 Heroes Khan: BSB, Razor Blade, Hardened Shield, Magic Standard: Skull of Qenghet 150 Shaman: Lvl 2 (Butchery), Dispel Scroll 165 Shaman: Lvl 2 (Butchery), Tome of Arcande Lore 145 Core 10 Bruisers: Full Command, Veteran Magical Standard: Banner of Discipline 463 8 Tribesman: Full Command, Heavy Armor, Iron Fists 312 Special Sabertooth Tiger 40 Sabertooth Tiger 40 Kin Eater 90 6 Bombardiers: Musician 250 6 Mercenary Veterans: Swiftstride and Thunderous Charge, Musician, Magical Standard: Banner of Speed, Iron Fists 405 Rare Slave Giant 150 TOTAL - 2500 points
  16. Excited about his as well! Always thought AoW did some great models, looking forward to seeing what they do for 9th Age.
  17. Bump! Updated items to reflect sold items and current wants. "Gamer Garage Sale Blow-Out Prices" are still currently what I'm asking still
  18. If you have Army Builder, it supports 9th Age . That's what I've been using, has all of the rules / stats built in as far as I can tell, no "see pg. 1234" nonsense.
  19. Hey all! Like the title says, I'm looking for a bunch of Ogre pistols, but am not having luck finding them on the various bits sites. Looking for 10-12 of them (6 right hand, 4 left hand, to be exact). Thanks!
  20. Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to play around with magic and see what works best with the army.
  21. Ok, so here is a revised list that I'm thinking of bringing to OFCC, having looked a little more into the army book. That being said, it's fairly similar to what I have above: Great Khan General Scepter of Dominion Bluffer's Helm 5++ GW 290 Great Shaman Lvl 4 (Butchery) Tome of Arcane Lore Obsidian Rock GW 332 Khan BSB Hardened Shield Razor Blade 140 Shaman Lvl 2 (Alchemy) 130 10 Bruisers FC Banner of Discipline 463 7 Tribesmen FC Heavy Armor Ironfists 276 5 Bombardiers Musician 250 6 Mercenary Veterans +1 BS & Poision Ogre Pistols Musician / Standard (Gleaming Icon) 355 2 Sabertooth Tigers 2 Yetis Slave Giant Edit: Forgot I had to drop a Bombardier to get the 2nd Sabertooth.
