  1. Last time I was pricing / looking at KoW armies, there wasn't a mega army deal for Goblins (probably the only Mantic army out there that I think looks good, heh). Now that I see it's up and appears to be an awesome selection of minis, I'm heavily thinking of picking one up.
  2. Ok, Animar EDH decklist. Very fun, non-infinite deck. 3. Voted make it 1 day. I don't think I would commit to any 2 - day event though, unless it was a team event.
  4. Miscellaneous stuff! Happy to bring this junk to OFCC Saturday / Sunday and let you haul it off Board Games: Warhammer 40,000: Conquest Comes with the core set, Howl of Blackmane expansion and The Scourge expansion. All cards opened up, mixed together, and played once, then put on the shelf. Friends just not super interested in picking it up with me. Age of Conan: The Strategy Board Game Claustrophobia (The Board Game) Mansions of Madness Miscellaneous: Wreck Age - Security Agents, Reclaimers Zealot Hell Dorado - Doppelsoldner Random Eldar I have laying around (will happily throw this in any trade for free) Blood Bowl: 5 metal Humans (4 Catchers, 1 Thrower) 1 metal Kroxigor, NIB RPG Books - D&D Players Handbook (3.5), Shadowrun 4th Edition rulebook Looking to trade for Fantasy stuff! This is just random stuff I have laying around; I have some stuff I'm specifically looking for, but will consider any offer that involves Fantasy minis Mainly looking for: Undead - Mantic Zombies, Varghulfs, Vargheists, Crypt Ghouls Bretonnia - Most everything except bowmen. Lizardmen - Anything not in the old Battalion box (aka anything not Skinks, Saurus, Temple Guard, Cold One Knights) Wood Elves - Last edition Treemen and Treekin, Dryads Or other stuff! LMK what you want and what you have :)
  5. Mierce probably has some good options (thinking of that crocodile thing with human arms), but also fairly expensive. Going to do some searching, see if I can figure something out. I just hate Reaper miniatures sooooo much, heh.
  6. There was a game on Kickstarter recently called "The Others: 7 Sins" that had a bunch of miniatures in it that I thought would be perfect for my vision of a Night Stalkers army. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that you can buy the different "sin" boxes separate from the game, so I doubt that would be a feasible route to go. Plus I have no idea how the game minis would scale with other 28mm stuff.
  7. Ended up picking up a F.A.T. Mat online, thanks all!
  8. Checked with Guardian and Mythic, and neither had them. Dice Age only had the "Blast Craters" ones. So still on the hunt before I order one! I might also be interested in a Realm of Battle, if someone is willing to let it go for around $150. Painted is fine, would prefer not flocked.
  9. We actually play in Salmon Creek, over at Mythic Realm. I've got a game of Imperial Assault lined up for this upcoming Tuesday, maybe some other time though?
  10. Would definitely be interested in taking you up on that offer. It's pretty hard for me to get down to Portland for gaming, Tuesday is pretty much my dedicated "gaming day," which I usually do up here in Vancouver. Maybe I can figure something out one of these Sundays though :)
  11. I've got a little extra cash to spend after clearing out some stuff, so I'm looking to set up some sort of gaming option at my place. To that end, I'm looking to pick up a F.A.T. Mat or something similar. Looking for something that will work for both 40K and Mordheim, primary looking for the Urban Combat 2 6'x4', but I might be open to others. I live in Vancouver, WA, but am happy to pick up in Portland / surrounding areas. Thanks! EDIT: I might also be interested in a Realm of Battle, if someone is willing to let it go for around $150. Painted is fine, would prefer not flocked.
  12. I guess that's true. Like I said, I have yet to try it out. It might be that once I do try it I'll love it, heh.
  13. I was referring to 40k not scratching the WHFB itch. I haven't played 9th Age, so I couldn't really say how they differ. I do want to try out 9th Age, but every time I try and go through the rulebook, I find myself just wishing I was playing 8th instead. I have nothing but respect for the people who have taken the time and effort to keep Fantasy going in one form or another, but I can't help but feel that some of the changes made suffer from "if it isn't broken, don't fix it."
  14. When I saw that Waaaghpaca was still doing multiple 8th Ed tournaments, I was hopefully that we would see something like that at OFCC. Sadly, the more I look at 9th Age, the more I feel like it's not for me. Pretty much just doing 40k now, which is ok, but doesn't scratch the same itch as WHFB.
  15. So I'm looking for the two Guants that are popping out of the front of the Tervigon (one's just a head, the other is a half a guant). I got mine 2nd hand and it was missing them. Anyone build theirs as a Tyranofex and have them to spare? Willing to send some cash your way if you could toss it in an envelope and send it my way, or I can see if I have any bits you need :) Thanks!
  16. Would this be a team event, like WHFB was previously, or an individual tournament?
  17. Going to look at picking up a couple of the Nurgle Demon ones! Great deals!
  18. If anyone is doing Epic on the north side of the River (Vancouver / Salmon Creek), I might be interested in giving it a shot, or at least observing a game. I've got a handful of Ork minis, have always thought the game looked like fun.
  19. Hello all! Like the title says, I'm looking to pick up a copy of the Apocalypse rulebook. I can get a copy in shrink wrap from FeeBay for $65 w/ free shipping, so I'm hoping that someone would be willing to do like $50 for a book in good condition (no loose bindings, please) and be able to meet around the Salmon Creek / NW Vancouver area, sometime earlier in the day on Sunday or Tuesday-Thursday. I can also trade, have some random AoS/ WHFB/ KoW stuff (Empire warmachines / characters, Ogre Stonehorn), or I've got a list of MTG cards that are up for grabs. Thanks!
  20. Not trying to sound snarky at all, I'm genuinely curious, are the formations and scenarios not very important to AoS? In 40K (in my experience), the formations add a ton to the army; if all the 40K rules were free but all of the formations were in the codices, you are basically not playing to full game unless you shell out the money for the books. Is AoS different?
  21. Updated post with more accurate descriptions / content / prices. Stuff will start going on FeeBay after the weekend, so someone take it off my hands!
  22. Howdy all, I seem to recall someone posting a link to a rundown on the differences between 8th edition and 9th Age, but going back through topics I'm not able to find it. I know the main rules have the changes in a different text color, but my brain seems intent on just blending all the rules together.
  23. Don't have my rulebook in front of me, but I believe the Avatar can't take artifacts because he is a Monster.
