I'm in the talks with someone for trading some MTG cards for his collection. Looking forward to seeing what I can get, heh. Never played the SW game. I had a ton of the Star Trek cards that I collected, but never found anyone to play with me. I'll have to disagree with you though, I thought LOTR was one of, or possibly the best TCG / CCGs I ever played.

Too bad you don't live close, heh. Would love to throw down some LOTR again.

Was sorting through some MTG cards and I came across my old Lord of the Rings TCG deck, was curious if anyone else still had cards and/or played? I think I've played twice in the last 10 years or so, but I remember loving the game. Wouldn't mind trying to get a game night together once a month or something :)

I have to motivate myself a lot of times. I love seeing a project come together, but it's hard to sit down in paint on days when I work both jobs (8am - 10pm). That being said, events certainly don't hurt in forcing the motivation, although I don't go to many of them.

Looking for a pair of the current Plaguebearers for my Carnival of Chaos warband. I can pick them up online, but I'm somewhat particular about what heads I want (or rather, don't want), so I thought I would try locally first. I've got bits, Empire characters, some Ogre stuff, misc, and cash. Thanks!

So part of me considered trying to power through some Nids for this, but there is a 0% chance of that happening currently. I may show up to hang out and watch some Harlequins get pushed around though ;) Will there be a way we can donate there if we aren't actually playing?

Just downloaded this last night. After a lot of trouble-shooting, was able to get it to launch. Curious to try it out, never really got into the game back in the day.

I'm still down for a game of 8th for anyone willing to meet up in Vancouver, I only played the edition for about 2 years regularly, so I still feel like it has a lot to offer me. I've still yet to play against Tomb Kings or Wood Elves. I know I'm a minority, but I think that 8th was great, straight out of the book. Only "comp" I was a fan of was knowing if I was going up against special characters or not. I still need to try out Kings of War some more, but the one game I played left me feeling pretty unsatisfied, so I'm a bit reluctant to give up my limited gaming time to test it out more. I'll probably just continue plugging away at Tyranids and painting up the occasional Mordheim figure.

You could always run Eldar "counts-as-Spyrers" Tim ;) I've ran Scavvies before, they are *barely* human, heh.

Thanks to all for the input! Very cool looking over these lists. I love the idea of having a couple of heavy ships, but didn't realize that it was actually a build that could be "successful." Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some actual ships soon!

Looking at jumping into X-Wing with some Scum faction, because... well, Bounty Hunters. Wanting to run double big ship, wondering what people's thoughts are for the Firespray vs IG-200 Hound's Tooth, and what might be some good support to go with them (since I can't get all 3 info a 100 point list without sacrificing on upgrades)

I can attest that these are beautifully painted, definitely jealous of anyone who snags these!

I enjoyed the game. I thought the fact that you had to "fight" for resource was a very cool mechanic and was a fun twist. The flavor is great, great art, and the warlords have a lot of cool abilities. . I'm mainly getting rid of it because it's not a multiplayer game, and my play group pretty much just does group games.

So I've got a core set of Warhammer 40,000: Conquest, as well as the Scourge and Howl of Blackmane expansions that I am looking to trade. The game was opened, played once, then packed up, my gaming group just wasn't as into it as I was. Would love to trade straight across for a copy of Eldritch Horror (NOT Arkham) or the two Blood Bowl Team Manager expansions. Alternatively, also interested in X-Wing stuff: Starter, Firespray, Scum and Villany, IG-2000. Or willing to sell the lot for $50 (paid $70 + tax for everything) Thanks! Edit: not looking to ship. Local trade / sale only. Meetup would most likely have to be in Vancouver (WA), due to car issues.

Our current league at Mythic Realm Games is starting to wind down,and starting October 6th we will begin a proper campaign set in the city of the damned. As of now, we have 8 regulars who attend Tuesday night Mordheim, but we do have some room for others to join in, and people from both side of the river are always welcome. Campaign details are still being worked out, but we are looking at using a modified version of the Bordertown Burning campaign objectives, although the campaign will be map bases and set in the actual City of the Damned. Anyone interested in joining, please get ahold of me, and I will give you the details on house rules / warbands / all that good stuff!
