    New Su Jian

I have two of the old one that I love, and I will have two of the new one as well! Guijia baby bro mode is going to be a hoot to paint!
  2. Just heard that! Great job on getting all that together!!
  3. Hiyo! The drawer is removable from its track, and from the stage (for when you just want to show the display by itself). That is why some of the pics on the site have the stages with and without the drawer interchangeably! The drawer stays in the track via tight tolerances in design, and I left enough room in the back for people to have it lock magnetically if they wish the extra peace of mind (I haven't seen the need though). As for the dimensions, I will have to measure that! I keep models (such as hidden deployment and AD troops etc) in one section and tokens-tape-list-laser in the other, though tags would certainly not fit hahaha. Thanks you guys! I will have pics of it with my has bam once i get the govads painted!
  4. Our group played through the entire thing, and every mission we just started by reading it and agreeing on how to execute it. If anything felt ambiguous, we just made a ruling before deployment. That campaign will make you learn the rules so much better considering how crazy it can get! Had tons of fun, and came out with the same lasting moments and memories that I remember from mordheim. Including my locking down an escape path to the life pods through the destructing space station with one of my troops, only to have my opponent dive in to it with a warcor and hit the button to launch. Everything else died and it was glorious. Takes commitment and serious solution finding! Playing through it diligently is what really gave me a broad grasp on the rules, and greatly increased my flexibility in game. Probably not for everyone, but for those it is for, it is excellence~

  6. Our group played through paradiso, and it was excellent! The missions are also great by themselves as one offs~
  7. 1) How did you hear about the event. The ordoboards 2) Would you attend another one? sign me up 3) If you did not attend, what prevent you from coming and playing? potentially weather and driving conditions 4) Was the entry fee reasonable? completely appropriate thanks! 5) Did you like the swag? I do not find prizes necessary, but I appreciate them nonetheless! 6) What swag would you like to have in the future? things useful in game are an excellent addition, so your selection was perfect! 7) Did the food work out? Was there enough to eat and drink? Beyond plenty, and potluck is pro mode 8) Where you happy with the prize support? Definitely, and most specifically those smoke tokens are extremely useful thanks 9) What was you favorite scenario? King of the hill, as it was a result specific to decisions, rather than dice rolls. An aspect I really appreciate in a scenario. 10) Did you like the terrain? What was you favorite table Jay's painted table look fab, love the care and attention in his work. 11) What types of tables would you like to see the club work for in the future? I think this will answer itself as experience in the game increases. The rules and play interactions drive toward a set of results all on their own. 12) Are four games too much? It was perfect and worth the drive that way 13) Did I leave enough times for the games? I think so, though I need to hurry my butt up and learn how to play this dang game! 14) Any suggestions? table entry points or votes was a great idea!

  9. If there is room, Will Martinez (from our eastside seattle group) would like a spot!
  10. QK are a bucket of fun! Even with all their flexibility, I always end up playing them as a Yuan^2 and Scarface delivery system anyway :|
  11. Garret is a really great acon player and has told me that learning that knight will make for an awesome opening strike!
  12. Yuan yuans are the best. Ava 4 right...?
  13. Wood glue and overnight sitting will work, especially if you score the contact surfaces first. be careful of too much causing beading when pressed together. There is an acrylic glue at hobby shops that i simply can not remember the name of. Inexpensive and you'll use it again for sure!
  14. Paint em all and decide later!
  15. Even in the face of an utterly indestructible thrakytaki LRL, I had tons of fun. Eric had some mad deployment, Dave knew where to press advantage, and John's only short coming were his unpainted rolls (painted rolls>>unpainted rolls hahaha) Thank you all!
  16. Brian loved, and was mind blown by seeing how Post humans work on table, glad to see you bringing up those seldom seen and tricksy pieces to the table! And third?! Bravo!!!
  17. Your deployment was sharp, I was struggling to find any purchase to advance on. Suicide dropping the ragik to draw guns away from my left flank was the only reason I could move at all hahaha Thank you very much for the game, and we will play more in time fo sho!
  18. https://youtu.be/zMRrNY0pxfM ^my thoughts as well^
  19. Wow, That is a range of applicable questions/answers! The learning curve is greatest when you try to apply the conventional wisdom of other systems. Give infinity thought and consideration within its own rules and you'll be golden after a few games! Fractions and their play? I would seriously just buy the models ya like, and proceed from there. On these forums I think dontpanic will be able to help you tons for aleph. CA the official forums, or a helpful volunteer from ordo, would be a great set of minds to pick at. Pano pulls rudra to mind, for military orders at least! As far as player base, I am not sure. It all starts and speeds from someone, somewhere. If you like what you see, run with it! The game has been on a serious and meteoric rise for a few years now, so some forward effort will surely see you land games
