  1. Stiil not working for me :( <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/d2BZCW4SpHE?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  2. Get to the chopper! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2BZCW4SpHE&list=UU8-Th83bH_thdKZDJCrn88g&feature=share&index=4 (I'm having a heckuva time getting the embed to work, any pointers?)
  3. I'll be there around 4:00 with 1500 pts of Orks.
  4. I got the feeling that they had cybernetic feel to them...
  5. Arachnarok spider bodies, Triarch Stalker legs, Forgefind Bits & Guns. Do some technovirus looking transitions. From the books I got the feeling the were tainted. I didn't want to use Tyranid parts cause I don't want to just reconfigure bugs, I wanted something different...
  6. I like the Imperial knights, I really do. But being a uniquist how would you feel about about a Megarachinid army? Not sure what those are? They were "exterminated' in 30k by the Blood Angels, the Luna Wolves and the Emperors Children. "During the Great Crusade, the 140th Expeditionary Fleet discovered Urisarach (dubbed "One-Forty Twenty"), and, ignoring the Interex's orbital warning beacons, descended to the surface to effect compliance in the name of the Imperium. Then all contact with the 140th ceased, save for a lone distress call from Blood Angels Captain Khitas Frome, which ended "This. World. Is. Murder".[1x] The Imperial forces that responded to the distress call included the 63rd Expeditionary Fleet under Warmaster Horus, a detachment from the Emperor's Children under Lord Commander Eidolon, and a relief force from the Blood Angels, led by Sanguinius himself. The war on "Murder" as it was dubbed, took several months, and all three forces suffered serious losses, but eventually the Megarachnids were exterminated. The Megarachnids possessed long sword-like claws which appeared to be made from an organic metallic substance, and lived and worked in large swarms. Their bodies were heavily augmented through a technological or biological process that, according to Captain Saul Tarvitz, made it impossible to discern where their bodies ended and their weapons began. Well?
  7. Are you an Ork player, want to blog but like me don't want to generate tons of content? How about a place where the squig brew is fresh and the lootins good! http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/blog/6-waaagh-ordo/ We need contributers! If you can come up with article a month, be it a battle report, a rant, picture, fart joke, whatever then PM and I'll add you in. The only stipulation is that you actually have some orks, no posers!
  8. I love the idea of deffkoptas, boyz on jetbikes, zipping around here and there causing grief and killing crap. I even like the stock model from the last boxed set. But I hate the way they play. At first they looked great. For 35 pts I get twin linked Rockets on a fast platform, that Isn't a slouch in Melee. Add a Buzzsaw for some powerfist action and whammo! But the weak link is LD 7. Literally everytime I used use them the run right off the board. They run to far and rally too poorly to be anything but a pts sink. For the same price I can get buggies. Just as fragile, but no leadership issues. So how wrong am I? Wow me.
  9. I think it's time for a dedicated resource for all us <s>Ordo</s> Orko Players. The intent here is to provide ourselves resources and community to prove that Orks are the best choice for the game! If you are interested in contributing just send me a PM. I plan on cross posting from the Fanboy Forge, plus more gaming related articles. Hopefully we can all share and support each other proving that a choppa to the face is way more effective that some fancy know-wot shooty bits any day.
  10. Plan on playing some upscaled Adeptus Titanicus? Or are you like me and want a 3 minute setup and a 2 minute movement phase?
  11. Ooooo, ahhhh: Yeah, I'm lootin the design.
  12. This is all the codex really need to make us happy: 1. Dakka 2. wacky but destructive antics 3. Eat yer face assaults 4. more Dakka 5. Profit
  13. I just hope for some mechanic that lets them complete charges, like overwatch casualties are removed from the back or something or other.
  14. I'm learning to airbrush, and I want your junk. Basically I want the stuff that sucks but can't bring yourself to throw away. Condition does not matter.
  15. This is a better Imperial Fists list than Iron Hands. I'd drop the Storm Talons and the MOTF, Take a buffed capt instead and at least one fatty tank, the tanks get IWND. Your Centurions will get stuck in the back with little support, so I'd go for different heavy choices. Podding an Ironclad in with your troops would be good wreck someones day. If you can squeeze in Techmarines to help buff your squads or babysit the tanks all the better.
  16. I expect to get a codex the "correct" power level, as the Dark Angels and CSM codex were. I hope to get some fun and variety. I'm gunna get letdown. Good thing Forgeworld is getting more exceptance, Kastorel-Novem is more of a codex to me than the codex...
  17. Today's daily affirmation with Skeletor:
  18. Guardian Games on Wednesday is 40k night, I'm sure you could meet up with some from the boards...
  19. I've got a light "generic" system I've been kicking around *may* work for a number of different genres, starship combat, mecha, etc. This is purely a vanity project that I just would like to refine. I have it in mind for few models per player, no more than 3, with resource management of your element(s) the central mechanic. My goal is a straight forward rules set that works for beer & pretzels play. I want just enough detail to keep it interesting but not be overwhelming. I'll be the first to admit there are other rules in the respective genres that do it better, I just would rather invest my time and energy in building cool models than learning yet more rules. I'm hoping to do this at Ordo on infrequent Tuesday nights...
