  1. Sweet! Looking forward to seeing what you cook up this year.
  2. I know it's really early, but some of us are really slow painters. Is there any news/update on the 40k side as far as HOG and/or format. Will following the ITC guidelines be a good bet? Thanks Alexander
  3. Always good to have you guys visit for the weekend! Congrats on winning Best Sportsman Khan.
  4. Done Smaller Friday events should be free with the team ticket
  5. Oh dear god, it's actually going to happen!
  6. I challenge you (and I suppose myself) to follow through on our creation last year - the Double Penetrator!
  7. Well Corey it's up to us to resurrect the true Double Penetrators - you bring the shots, i'll bring the pints and we'll make this happen. No more Sticky Mickey's I swear!
  8. The only real challenge is that of your brothers. The rest of you have been trod beneath the heels of DMB for so long you are no longer worthy of challenging. Line your sisters up though and we'll have a real challenge on hand.
  9. We shall meet upon the field of libations. The ground shall be rich with the blood of fallen appletinis and rich with the sweet juices of PBR. I fear not your pathetic band of PBRers, do yet worst cully!
  10. Riders of Brohan Captain is same as last year. The person with the most original internet handle ever. Me.
  11. Shameless bump, top post updated with event information. We have officially joined the ITC!
  12. No we drank it all at OFCC and I burned the shelf it was sitting on just to be safe.
  13. Got it dude, I am making a nest out of towels, pillows and Mickeys in the basement for the Hamsters!
  14. Tickets are up for sale!! Go to www.dmbbrawl.com Tickets are $40 each - and space is limited so sign up early. The blog has not been updated with current art/banners so it still has last years date.
  15. Okay it is official the fourth annual DMB Brawl will be the weekend of August 29-30 this year! 1850 points - ITC Format Tickets will be on sale ASAP Thank you, Good Night
  16. I am looking at the Formats (restrictions) used in the current 40k scene. And I wonder, why all the extra goof off nonsense - why can't we just play whatever lists we want based on the main rulebook? Unbound, multiple detachments, 40k approved forgeworld. So I ask you to pose armies that are outside of the ITC format that are so bad you NEED those restrictions to make the game fun/fair. Thanks
  17. Will do my best to get the venue and date locked down ASAP!
  18. Nothing set in stone, but looking at September.
  19. You better not let me down Corey, I still have your pillows and towels - and no that is not a euphemism.
  20. We have officially joined the ITC this year. Please check out our blog for more information on the rules and army construction guidelines: www.dmbbrawl.com The event will be August 29th - 30th at the Gladish Community Center, and we will be in the same room as last year (air conditioning and carpet). Tickets are $40 and available via paypal through the blog. Space is limited to 44 players, so please sign up early to guarantee a spot and help us get the most out of our prize support and other goodies!
  21. The Riders of Brohan will be back to claim skulls and beer!
  22. Brohan will ride again! Once we get our tickets paid up....
  23. I am really sad to see the 40k team event drop to 16 teams. My first year there were 25 teams and it was great, heck there was talk of finding a bigger venue for more teams. Now with the thought of so few teams the luster of the event has faded a bit. DMB will still be there in force (we have to bring the bucket back) but I just wanted to express my disappointment in SHRINKING the event. Can we just go back to the halcyon days at the Red Lion? Okay, gripe over - now to get amped up about a new army project!
  24. I like the option of rolling all my psychic powers and keeping them for the event, as I am working on a demon army. I wouldn't ask everyone to do that - like the marine player with 1 librarian who wants to pick and choose his powers each game - vs rolling 432 times a game for a demon army. It would be a nice option.
