I want to say its every other Wednesday night. I typically go in on Fridays to get my games in. by the sounds of it turnout is small but its still going at least. the person leading the league is a gentleman named John. he is a regular that is often there painting in the afternoons. They also have a signup sheet on their announcements board for a Campaign that will be starting in the near future. (some campaign from No Quarter)

Tam I know you and me got to play some Kill teams up at Mythic Realms one night. I am starting to get into warmachine and am playing in a league over at Dice Age Games. Not sure about the different types of leagues since I am fairly new to it, but it has patches for weekly play as well as special patches for achievements during the league. I get 1-2 games a week in over there when I have time. they do help to work around my schedule and let me play my league games on a different day since I work late on the league night.

Not sure about the ITC crowd, but this is something I would have interest in. I often use other models or scatter terrain as objectives. What I would love to see and there is not much on the market out there is something that could represent a mysterious objective and then other parts that can replace or add to it to designate the type of objective once rolled. allowing you to see at a glance without needing to memorize the table what an objective is. Examples of what i do is use relay Towers, Ammo boxes, Explosive barrels and Storage crates

Scratch that tons of regular troop shoulder pads no terminator shoulder pads

If the pad from the veterans sprue is not a good fit for your terminator, I have about 7-8 different options from my various terminator kits

I was mainly asking out of a curiosity I play for fun most of the time but try to think of all the rules in the event I was going to a tournament. I personally don't think the because the rules that came in the box do not have a faction that it can be taken with any army. Case in point all the newer models like deathwatch also come with stats in the kit and those do not have a faction or org slot assignment on them. By your logic I should be able to take them in any army as well. I have a feeling at a tournament this may come into question.

I have a good amount of necron's I could look at getting something going. I have not played them yet though.

Depends on how your playing but I am assuming you are looking to make a battle forged army since unbound can do whatever it wants. In a Battleforged army there is no limit on factions you can include, but you must have every unit part of a detachment. So as long as your eldar are also part of a detachment you are good as far as battle forged. One note they would be Allies of Convenience. Rules notes below BRB 118 "There is no limit to the number of Detachments a Battleforged army can include and you can use any mixture of detachments you have available, within the restrictions of the rules that follow. All units must belong to a detachment and no unit can belong to more than one detatchment." BRB 121 "Formations are a special type of detachment"

So I am curious on how you are bringing the Tau Shieldline with the Tyranids. Are you going unbound, Bringing the Tau Shieldline as part of one of the preset formations or bringing it in a Tau Combined arms detachment. It is my understanding that the Shieldline is a Tau specific fortification and not open for every army to take without allies. The only thing I can think of is the data sheets in the actual box with the model do not have the faction (but this is true with all data sheets in boxes for specific models), but both books the models are in they are Tau specific fortification (Kauyon, Tau Codex) one other question is if its part of an allied detachment, can the Tyranids start on it or do they have to wait a turn to move on to it similar to how transports work.

I may have to get ready to go this next year... side note I don't drink (but that makes me a good designated driver) the hardest part for me will be picking an army to play.

Games were fun today. starting to get the hang of my Dark Eldar list.

Yah the full retail list is what has prevented me from entertaining this, and most people know I am a sucker for terrain. I can order most of this from a shop at a 20% or more discount.

No fliers nothing with more than 3 hull points Nothing with combined armor greater than 33 (when combining front side and rear) Has to fit in the slots available

If you look in the BRB it does the same thing, Shows the graphic then lists which slots are compulsory and which are optional. In this case you get 2 troops, 1 elite and 1 fast attack and they are all optional.

So just to rain on Fluger's Parade you only get 1 Elite slot choice from the codex. Kommandos are one Boss Snikrot is a separate one So you would have to chose one or the other, you would not be able to have both. As per the rules on page 12 in the Kill team book "If a model has the Independent Character Special rule, It cannot join another model to form a unit of two" and lastly most of Snikrots special reserves bonuses are void since nothing can be put in reserves (unless Outflanking) in Kill team.
