I personally think we should add ITC elements to games so it's an easier way in. The missions are whatever you want but the base scoring is important to learn

The blip is removed at the end of the opponent's First Movement phase or at the end of the GSC turn... This is going to definitely be my second faction after orks

Yup. Exactly so. CP is already at a premium and if Grot Shields were 2 CP the army would have a VERY hard time making top tables. Dakka Dakka Dakka is strong and so is More Dakka but the cost to operate is huge

Sure, it seems cheap except lootas are the only reliable firebase for orks, without that stratagem being cheap lootas are overpriced by about 4-5 points

Grot shields is limited and supposed to be cheap over turn as grots have LD 4 and unless you baby sit them they run like mad not only do you force CP used (and we have little ways to get that back). Though being smart and spreading the kills around helps. Orks are fun that way. I am. Counter meta as I run Deathskulls instead of Evil Sunz. Yes range and movement is great, getting a chance at survival and forcing an opponent to push MORE firepower than normal to kill a squad... Priceless. It's that whole idea of "So what you are saying is that there is a chance?" oh and the rerolls for being blue is fantastic. Especially on a Relic Shokk Attack Gun... Hehehe

So I have a thing with current terrain in 99% of places. This especially hits GW terrain as it ANNOYS ME TO NO END!!! 8th edition is an edition where if you don't have good terrain (a solid Los Blocking pieces in the center, some nice corner pieces to move around, etc) it makes the game just a giant shooting gallery which has stopped me from playing armies like Tau (not because I go WAAC but I like to think I am a smidgen over decent in capability as a player... Ego alert ;P) Now thanks to Wargames Tournament I have fun terrain! Terrain I think is solid for 8th edition! Oh and maybe some industrial walkways and such that are modular enough for many other games. Having said all this... So the terrain I am working on is missing the last stage (which is panels) but wonder if this is a good amount of terrain? I still have another tall tower, a junk house and a junk bunker, but thoughts? The whole thing is modular so the gate can be a center piece easily and the sides can move. Also all those front pieces are barricades which I know are not great but they are ok. First pic is of the tower with panels on to give the idea of how it will look I think it's enough terrain especially since it's all modular. At the very least for a table. Oh and the gate raises I have a HUGE PACK of junk armor panels to kit these all out and I still have 3 things to build... Thoughts? Oh... Who want a to paint all of this?

I will not be there this Sunday... I have terrain I am building that I haven't touched yet (not 3d printing, actually building) And want to have a bunch ready for Tuesday... Will need people to paint them for the club. Goal is to have better 8th Edition style terrain

I believe intent is to have 1 tactical objective of your choice and then random from there

I am enjoying making my bases

Played against Jason at 1500 today and he went first but going second was good because I could control what I needed to hold and kill. I think it's fun. The question is, what secondaries can you pick and reliably get?
