InfestedKerrigan
So any army can take a non-allied detachment of knights to represent Merc Houses? Am I understanding that correctly?
WestRider
No. They've got an Allies matrix, Bros with most Imperials, AoC or Desperate with a couple of Xenos, no allying with Chaos or most Xenos.
AbusePuppy
Knights can be taken as an allied force, but do not take your ally slot (much like Inquisition, Legion of the Damned, etc.) You still have to abide by the restrictions of the ally relationship, however- so Nids/Orks/Necrons can't take them at all, and so on. Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
I didn't realize you could take that separate to ally slot. I wonder what standard size game in their play test?
Gorgosaurusrex
I didn't realize you could take that separate to ally slot. I wonder what standard size game in their play test? I don't think GW playtests their releases anymore.
Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
They playtest, it is just closed probably to just design team and a few staff. I'm not criticizing this just more curious what design team plays at. White dwarf battle reports seem to be closer to 2.5k now.
