Murphy'sLawyer
Very much so. I think I'm going to play an elven or undead group. Any suggestions? Stay away from the Shadow Warriors for now. They ave been considered overpowered for as long as I have been reading about Mordheim. (5+ years.) The other elves I haven't heard either way. The Drop trooper
Gotcha. Well I'd have played chaos but I don't like carnival or nurgle...so I think I'll play either elves or vamps
Murphy'sLawyer
Gotcha. Well I'd have played chaos but I don't like carnival or nurgle...so I think I'll play either elves or vamps Well the Cult of the Possesed could be fun and with a box of Forsaken you could have more than half the Warband done. The Undead though I like in Mordheim. I have thought about running a Vamp list at first but I have Empire and Orcs lieing around screaming to be used first. Also there is a box of Zombies in the bits box at GG and they are sell for $4 a sprue.
MexicanNinja
My main talking point I would like to bring up during our meeting is warbands. I personally don't think nurgle should be allowed in any mordheim campaign. Nurgles Rot is a huge over powered ability and it pretty much secures victory in the long run. However, I have played against possesed a few times. They have the ability to be tough but aren't that OP. With that being said, I have also participated in a group who allowed a ton of warbands to be chosen from and it got a little ridiculous really fast. I am glad to be having a meeting before this kicks off. As fun as Mordheim is, it can be broken pretty quickly.
Murphy'sLawyer
Man, I have hundreds of ideas for different themed Warbands my mind is going to explode with joy. (Yes I am geeking out on this.) Really looking forward to Saturday. MN, are the GW made warbands good to go, outside of the Nurgle's Rot? I know the Fan based ones get out of hand. Murphy'sLawyer
Also I am having a hard time finding an "official" list of Warbands. So I think if someone with experience, MN, can help collect a list of good Warbands for us to look at it would be great. List for Reference. http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Mordheim_-_Collectors_Guide And what of terrain? GG has some terrain but I am not sure they have enough of the right terrain for Mordheim. I am collecting together some terrain and can help with a table or two but that's it. Chappy
There should be a big bin of Mordheim Terrain at WoW. And Rhuntar may have more. You'll have to PM him.
MexicanNinja
I'll post a link to some official warbands. I'll have to see if the link still works. I think I also have links for more missions, hired swords, equipment, etc. ML, yeah, gw warwands are fine. If it wasn't for nurgle's rot, nurgle would be fine. Beastmen are a solid option for mordheim as well. I used to exclusively play dwarf treasure hunters only but I got rid of the warband. The Drop trooper
Also lizard men is missing from the list but they're fine to play as well if anyone wants too.
Nephren-Ka
If lizardmen are a solid list, I may go in that direction. My only concern is it being developed outside of sanctioned rules and subject to being broken or limited in options. Still undecided, but likely skaven or lizardmen. The Drop trooper
http://www.hong-crewet.dk/Mordheim/Warbands/Lizardmen_Warband.pdf here is a link for the lizardmen addition to Mordheim! take a look good sir and decide if they're a good fit for you
Murphy'sLawyer
Ok, so finished reading the Rulebook, two to three times for some sections, and feel ready for Saturdays meeting. Just want to make sure everyone is reading the same rules, are there erratas I should have too?
MexicanNinja
There's no offical errata. Basically, every mordheim campaign I've been envolved with comes down to the players setting house rules for the campaign.
MexicanNinja
If you haven't heard of this forum, I would check it out. I haven't logged on to the forums in a long time, due to not playing much Mordhiem. However, when I was an active user of this forum, it was great. It's got a lot of useful information and it the best Mordhiem forum I've found. http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/
ninefinger
There's no offical errata. Basically, every mordheim campaign I've been envolved with comes down to the players setting house rules for the campaign. There used to be an errata on GW's website... here's a drop box link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tezhcjox3plb70v/MHRRv7.pdf It could still be buried somewhere on black library's site, but i assumed they dropped all the old specialist games files either when they stopped supporting the line or when they launched the new site. There should be a big bin of Mordheim Terrain at WoW. And Rhuntar may have more. You'll have to PM him. Chappy's right. There's a big box of Dan's stuff, and a big box of my scratchbuilt terrain at Wow. I could dig out my gangways and ladders and make sure they're with them. Probably enough for 2 or 3 tables at once (and I do mean proper mordheim tables) I've got tons of old files for mordheim on a flash drive, so let me know if you're looking for anything. I'd be interested in playing, although my schedule's a little hectic at the moment. -rhuntar
MexicanNinja
Rhuntar, last I heard and saw, gw stopped supporting specialist games all together. Besdides, mordheim is a simple system and with a few minor house rules it works just fine.
The Drop trooper
We will be using house rules. Saturday if you're interested please show up! If you cannot then please send me an email and I will send you want we have decided.
Brother Glacius
I'm interested as well if we are playing at GG. I could run undead, sisters, orcs, or dwarves....I suppose even beastmen if they have a list.

MexicanNinja
Beastmen do have a warband roster. They are also pretty good. If I remember correctly, they have an option to take a mino.

Brother Glacius
I'm taking my daughter to the Lake Merwin hatchery for some fishing on Saturday, so I can't make the meet at GG.
MexicanNinja
My warband is ready to rumble.
