Also saw Black Panther last night, really enjoyed it. It is the Marvel MCU Formula, but they did expand it a bit with the above....the villain actually has solid motivation, and you commiserate with him. Really enjoyed it, Wakanda looked awesome, the costumes were great, the tech amazing...they nailed it. Will definitely see again!

Sad news...

Dark (Netflix Series) 8/10 Engaging story that kept me wanting to watch another episode. It is not fast paced at all, but the story is very interesting. Would definitely watch it again. Also, must watch with subtitles (unless you are fluent in German), I tried a bit with the english dubbing, and it was really awful.

The revised Rise of the Runelords is still considered the go to Adventure Path I believe. They updated it to actual Pathfinder rules and put it in one nice big book. It is a great story, and you really can't go wrong with it IMO.

Bright - 3/10 Just meh...just a 2 hour mess of meh. Characters were not interesting. The story was not very interesting. You could tell a lot of things hit the cutting room floor. Honestly, it really felt like they thought there were shooting a TV show, but then decided, "Let's just shove this all together to a 2 hour run, and call it a movie".

Yikes guys...that is a tough one...I mean...c'mon, we've had some great sci fi movies in the last 10 years. Arrival Blade Runner 2049 Moon Ex Machine Mad Max: Fury Road Edge of Tomorrow (I actually am surprised i'm adding this one, but I really enjoyed it) Oblivion (another surprise, but it did so many sci fi tropes I loved it) Looper Chronicle Dredd Attack the Block District 9 I'm still probably missing a few...but scanning through movies of the last 10 years....I think the above would all be on my list. Arrival is very much up there for me...

Yeah....when I walked out of the theater, I put it right at 5/10. Sadly, the more I think/discuss this movie, the lower my ranking goes... My Thoughts about The Last Jedi...

Stranger Things Season 2 Pretty much perfect...9/10 Perfect show...can't wait til Season 3! Punisher Also, 9/10 Netflix has another slam dunk...they did a great job not just making a shoot em up Punisher, but a story with some grit and great writing. Best Marvel series on Netflix to date.
