  1. Thats a shame. Doesnt seem like many in Oregon have picked it up. If i didnt have a child due July 4th i would have volunteered to run an event.
  2. If i were to play nightstalkers i would probably use tyranids. No more armies for me tho (5 is more than enough)
  3. only 6 people made it out. The armies were ogres, salamanders, kingdoms of men, dwarves, and twilight kin. we just did a five game rouund robin event, it was a lot of fun despite the low turnout. Expecting a much better turnout for the upcoming Rain City Rumble on Feb 21st. No Seahawks game to compete with and no other tournaments going on the same weekend that i know of.
  4. this is correct. Inquisitor is a steal at 31 pts with title, autothrusters, amd ptl
  5. Awesome If you guys are on facebook can you rsvp on the event page for me?
  6. Definitely planning on buying it when the hard copy comes out.
  7. yeah he looks really good. With ptl, autothrusters, and his TIE v1 title being the best build IMO
  8. My vote would be KoW. I am unable to attend this year as my wife is due to give birth July 4th and i cant leave her with a newborn and 4 year old
  9. I havent played it yet but would be willing to give it a shot
  10. pretty sure i have some basic skinks. Will take inventory to see how many i have tomorow.

  13. https://www.facebook.com/events/1491098537864475/ Link to the event. Hope to see some of you guys there.
  14. Here is a link to the event. Would be awesome to some of you guys there. https://www.facebook.com/events/1491098537864475/
  15. Who all is going to make it up to Seattle area for this? I know there are quite a few BC guys coming. Would be awesome to see some Oregon guys as well. That and its my birthday weekend.
  16. I am definitely curious to try it out. Still have to keep track of 8th edition rules until masters so probably after masters ill give it a whirl
  17. Yeah the Rules Committee has been pretty clear on the mantic forums that KoW was designed with with allies as a default rule
  18. Yeah I have mixed feelings on allies. In some cases it lets people use models they have that aren't represented by their army which is great, it also allows some flavorful allies like Orcs and goblins. What I don't like about it is that you will see the same units taken a lot (elohi, basusu, drakon riders, etc).
  19. took a peak at a couple of them and they look good. I cant see it pulling me away from KoW, but I would play it over 8th edition hands down.
  20. http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/26367-kings-of-war-tournament-twinkle-fest-annihilation/ figured this should be posted here as well just in case anybody didnt see it in the tournament section
  21. link isnt working in the first post :-(
  22. on page 10 it says "Finally shuffle the chargers sideways until their unit leader point is directly opposite the center of the unit, or as close as possible to it." The next paragragh then says that you cant be corner to corner when charging. This tells me that you shuffle as far as you can and as long as your arent corner to corner its a legal charge. Assuming you are able to line up flush with the enemy during the charge move.
  23. I might give it a try again as well. I enjoyed the game a lot
