  1. Man, it was fun to play a couple rounds of Skull and a game of Duke. It's been too long since I've been gaming with any sort of regularity. Thanks, guys.
  2. What's shakin'? Anyone board gaming? I'd be up for a boardgame or some Infinity... probably a little later, say around 7...
  3. Goddamn, did I share these guys? https://youtu.be/ve-qHdxsF4Q?list=PLSIB1RzsHVL8ZcgVYQfWFgtXUvYjWdF8l Mongolian Folk Metal
  4. Sweet! And thanks! I just saw Kevin posted this: http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/27948-saturday-423-birthday-boozery-and-arcades/ so I'm not going to try and compete with that - it sounds too awesome! Will you go? If so, that's the logical time.
  5. Spent the weekend out on San Juan and it was great. I'm looking forward to spending next weekend in the ham, though. Anyone around? Maybe interested in a board game night? Maybe some thing longer like rep ulic of Rome? *edit* It looks like Kevin has something way funner planned - http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/27948-saturday-423-birthday-boozery-and-arcades/
  6. My work is hiring warehouse: https://bellingham.craigslist.org/ret/5540589595.html and also rope splicing: http://bellingham.craigslist.org/lab/5537698155.html
  7. I think I'm doing Naked Lady drawing, but would love to pick up a 9:30 game of something quick. Cold War Computron, Bugs on Ice, or something.
  8. Man, that show was incredibly heavy. Tribulation was as good as I hoped they would be, and I loved SkeletonWitch. The new singer is the dude from Wolvhammer, and I thought he killed it. I picked up "Serpents Unleashed" and that has the old vocalist and it's currently blowing my mind as I work. I know folks love High on Fire, but I wasn't feeling it. I think they were by far the most subdued of the bands - mostly stayed in place and played - which after 2 bands I needed more to keep me excited. I was starting to feel old and kranky by the time Abbath came on, and I didn't know if I would like them at all, but HOLY [big bad swear word], did they slay! I found myself drawn into a headbanging, screaming frenzy. I've been listening to Immortal now, and it's really good. Wish I had gotten a sweet Abbath shirt!
  9. So happy to see my bits box given new life!
  10. Ok Fellas, slight complication.... I forgot that we had to move some furniture at Sacha's old place... not much, a mattress and big TV. SO, I either need to spend the night in Seattle and do it on Saturday, or leave early enough to do it before the show on Friday. If I had the help of 3 strapping young lads, it wouldn't take long... but it would mean leaving before 4 to get through traffic and to the show on time, or staying over in Seattle. Either way, I'm afraid the ride situation might be more complicated than I thought. Anyone else able to drive?
  11. Thanks for the offer! I am realizing I am still totally wiped from moving stuff this weekend... I am going to nap after work and be by later. Maybe build some duderz.
  12. Sounds like everyone who might want to play some Infinity has a date? I'd be up for an early game, otherwise I will just swing by and watch, then head to naked lady drawing and meet y'all for beers. OOOOOHH!!! Maybe I'll bring hobby supplies and assemble some duderz! THAT'S THE TICKET!!!
  13. You can fit in the Prius, too. We would have room for 1 more, Joey, I assume is going, so that would be a full car.
  14. You can ride in the space car with us!
  15. I am trying to think a little ahead and be better prepared for the Infinity campaign I've heard rumours of than I was for the Warlands campaign. Do we have an estimation of when we might start? Is Joey running it? Are we limited to one faction, or can we switch between generic and sectoral versions of it? Just trying to make a plan for what I want to assemble and hopefully paint. Oh, and I just ordered some new minis for the first time in a long time! WOOT!
  16. Well, depending on how many of us are going we might need two cars. Sacha's prius will fit 4-5 comfortably. She is going to go hang out with Seattle friends that night, so we could take 3 more...
  17. Not yet, but I'm thinking it's time. Bought a ticket. $8.50 service fee. [big bad swear word].
  18. April 1st in Seattle, there is a KILLER lineup coming our way! Tribulation, High On Fire, Skeleton Witch, Abbath! https://youtu.be/TNZgqxAxaj4 https://youtu.be/z5eA2c60SOg https://youtu.be/L0VPVawpN8E https://youtu.be/0R-0ey4kchc El Corazon in Seattle. Looks like about $30, which actually is ok for 4 great bands.
  19. Seems like they should find a home... not sure if they have any value any more or are just recycling now....
  20. I am out of town both weekends... but I also am the lamest participant, without even a single finished car, so I feel like I shouldn't get a vote. :(
