There's a few of us up here in Bellingham that have FOW forces. Me, Eli, Jim, Joey... and I feel like I'm forgetting someone! It's no too hard to get a game going, and we're pretty relaxed about what's what.

Yeah, awesome! I'll be down Mondays starting next week, and probably most Thursdays for open fencing. It's pretty cool the similarities between medieval Italian longsword and other martial arts, like Phillipino knife fighting. Makes me happy that there is a practical basis underlying it, and it's not total fantasy. It also make me feel a little bit like I'm LARPing, but don't tell anyone.

I figured some of my fellow nerds might be interested in this! I'm going to take the Longsword intro class at Kulshan HEMA which meets downtown, and learn how to fight with a longsword according to actual historical documents, and how to put it into practice in sparring. Those happenings sure are random! In our game, it rained fish, flagellants attacked, a chaos spawn attacked, and two dudes randomly found some weirdstone. It was great.

Nope, still got em. I actually put them out next on the project desk. going to try and get the bases sanded and the army primered.

Maybe I sold them because I heard there was a new edition on the way... seems like something I would do. ​The 4th edition should be out next year. Sounds like they've streamlined it and expanded it. My favorite type of new edition!
