Watching this video reminded me why I bought/built/printed/painted all those damn tanks... Seemed like the right thing to share!

I didn't find any difference in quality after paint went on. So, plus for cheaper transparent?

I mostly use 'spru' gray. Only time I've used clear resin was when I bought some to try it out. It's cool if the thing your printing should be transparent and that color. Other than that, it seems like it makes details a little harder to make out, depending on lighting. I used various clear resins back in my SmoothOn/Oomoo days, but most of that stuff was destined to be painted, so it didn't matter the color. Some examples that didn't get fully painted where the clear resin really was the way to go:

Wargame series is still one of the best RTS games I've ever played. I'll reserve my harsh judgements.

Had too look up NSDAP. Immediately face palmed. 'Role Play' and 'Somebody has to play the baddies', aside... I remember that we were all encouraged to 'just pick something that you think is cool, and then learn the rules.' That's OK! But it can be really bad advice for some people. You probably wouldn't enjoy a nice game of Chess with them either... I'll play as Germany or Japan in Axis and Allies, with no compunction about being brutal and aggressive, I'll even tie the actions back to real world events, bad as they might be. The key is to have fun and get other players comfortable with the game and the gaming environment. Win or lose, everybody can learn something about how to have fun with the game. Then we rematch!
