  1. Just replaced a broken handle for a 15 year old Pampered Chef spatula. #functionalprints
  2. All of a sudden it hit me, where I roadblocked on this project back in the day... the limiting reagent of my experiment, and this kit? Hatch covers: The Fabricator General says 'If the Omnissiah didn't want us to have hatch covers, he wouldn't have given us 3d printers...'
  3. They might even finally get some paint!
  4. Zombie post, reply promised long ago... All of the magnets are polarized consistently so it's not complicate which parts go with which models. I'll post the opposite side as well.
  5. Tell me more about reducing fluid adhesion? Meaning the resin clinging to the model, that is usually has to be washed away? Also, where are you finding the models for this? Looking great!
  6. I love the faint UV glow reflecting from the distance...
  7. It's glorious in that GrimDark way! I get the sense that is about the right scale? Really cool prints. Are the undersides smooth, or is there a void when the pieces are assembled? Pics or it didn't happen! HAHA! No really, are we going to see some next gen Grot Tanks?
  8. What problem, I don't have a problem... 🙂
  9. I have yet to find a proper t-80 3d printed model, that being said, I'm really looking forward to this. I have T-55s and T-72s, and 3 Zvezda T-72s as well. I was buying 'Murica and wanted to have a home Soviet force to use for practice/player intro. I did buy my Hinds...
  10. From the reddits this morning:
  11. One Mean Idi Amin! (Raid on Entebbe) And Puppet Masters too!
  12. It's the creative output that is most helpful, what ever your medium or method, I think? I was good and saved(this one's still entry level). I set an achievable goal, and then did it. Little life check-points. I imagine you know a thing or two about that. I love the idea of the Gaming Mobile HQ. Have games, will travel, away.
  13. Aw man, that's cool, but maybe it's a misprint... Some wash and UV later...
  14. For 3d resin printers, height is the biggest factor in time to print. Detail = layers. Layers = seconds. But you do every layer in about 5-8 seconds. (*not counting all the other variables....) You can print a full block one inch tall the size of the build area as fast as you can print a single pixel, one inch tall. The Mars Pro 2 has a resolution of 1620x2560. At relatively the same quality, I can print 3 t-72s standing up in about 6 hours. I can print 1 t-7s horizontal in 1 hour and 33 minutes. If I am there to babysit, I can print them 1 at a time. If I'm going to sleep, I can just print 3 and wake up to a finished print. 3 vs 5 for the same 8 hour period.. (Sleep, I highly recommend it.) So grinding... that's 13 tanks a day... Your mileage may vary.
  15. Ok, replaced the screen protector, resealed the edges and we're rocking again. Best Leopard yet, printed yesterday. Next up, targets for the Leopards.
  16. I was checking this out for the first time today. Anyone play this yet? Rules let you use most any ship models you already have. There's also a Virtual Tabletop Simulator mod too. With the addition of a single player ruleset this is 1-4 players. A Billion Suns – Interstellar Fleet Battles abillionsuns.space A Billion Suns is a tabletop science-fiction miniatures wargame of interstellar combat for 2-4 players, featuring a number of awesome and uniquely science-fictiony ...
  17. [big bad swear word] ya! We're still out here. RIGHT?!?! Thanks for putting that out there. That's all kinds of rough I don't know about, and some that I do. Paint the models. Post the posts. Play the games. Live the life. I'm bunkered up and hunkered down, waiting for a jab or two... Then Game On! ... Printing modern Germans... because 2A6. WOOT ORDO!
