  1. It was a good looking army. The scales could of used more depth but it looked great

  3. It was fine. I never felt as if I wasn't in control of the games though. That is big I think. It means to me despite my mistakes my method of play I still felt I could win
  4. Lost game 4 to salamanders with knight player named Harry. I nuked the knight with my Souped Up Shokk Attack Gun which was nice. We both agreed had it gone on I would of tabled him. Game 5 was against a fantastic gsc player named Tyler who put up with my belly aching over how much better Acolytes are to boys for the same point cost (seriously, they only have 1 less toughness which is big but yeesh). It was my first game against gsc and my opponent didn't know their improvised heavy weapons didn't have a penalty to hit anymore... I won though handedly with him forgetting to vect my attack interrupt which killed 13 Purestrain Genestealers and later wiped them out to morale... My win 22 and 14 putting 3 and 2 for my first 40k big tournament. Pretty cool. Need to work better on game time
  5. Uneven? The objectives are placed in a symmetrical fashion. Deployment is random. That's how ITC works. That way a list. Doesn't just get destroyed because of unfavorable deployment

Uhhhh I still get my invul against scout snipers they still need a 3 to hit (not 2+) they wound on a 4+ (not 3+), they have no AP (instead of AP-2) and they deal 1 damage (instead of D3), oh and to kick it off, I get no invul, if the assassin fails to kill he gets chances to Mortal wound on a 3+,then a 4+,then a 5+, then a 6+. Yea, scouts don't get that. At. All.

  9. I don't like that sniper... He is basically is 85 points and kills all my key characters for orks with no chance of a save except FNP.... Yea he can go die in a fire
  10. I need to get better. It will be easier now that I am not using the AoS version of "Wholly Within" which is entire base while 40k uses any portion of that base but the entire units needs at least a millimeter or so within. ( it's in the BRB faq) This means my KFF range is 20" around on 32mm bases and not 18" which is pretty important Basically how people toe in cover, I get to toe in KFF range... Silly me. I should of seen the similarities sooner.
  11. Lost game 3 to harlequins because we were taking too long. He got his T3 and I did not so he won with killing something which also gives kill more, 2 secondaries, and holding. I was leading by one 1. So I might of killed more on my turn. At least held more, killed a thing, butchers bill and recond. Maybe a few head hunters. Need to learn to move faster or move less when not needed

  16. Only issue with that are the people who built lists or play affected factions. They won't show and they won't know. If they do show they are either happy or walk away dejected. As the above e poster said, ymmv
  17. That's fair. I am just curious if they will be included in any future events since it is now accepted in all other ITC tournaments. Still sad that I don't get the experience as it hurts me more to have Bolter Drill (I play orks) and sad it means a player won't participate

  19. The email and status for the custodes and Bolter rule are the exact same for the sisters of battle. My hang up is that these are all beta rules including the errata and faq rules. I understand not being comfortable with not using them and I respect that but I am just curious on how that works with something like adepticon or lvo where they would allow those rules as long as they meet the deadline. As I said earlier, to me it doesn't matter except that it means I am not getting the full experience these things will provide. It also is limiting a player from playing
  20. Would that include sisters of battle as they are a beta codex with no faq or errata? I ask because it's an official product with rules but don't fall under your guidelines so to avoid issues it's best to ask
  21. The only ones @peter.cosgrove is not using is Bolter Drill and the new Custodes Beta rules. Those were also not available for LVO due to being released after January 8th but my opinion is if the new Genestealer Cult is allowed then the new beta rules should be available since they are official rules. My opinion matters for little, I am not setting this up though. I just want an even playing field since other tournaments I will go to or events will use these

  23. So, official product doesn't matter even if labeled as a Beta rule. It has to only be in official errata labeled as a beta rule. Ok. Makes the game easier for me.
