Due to the new pupper, I will be out of gaming for a few weeks as I get him acclimated to the home

I should be there for 40k

I wonder if the new Goblin book will have Da Moon City faction...
-
Hmmmmm Dwarves uniting under 1 codex could be a problem for my desired army but I will make it none the less I think

I’m sure we can dig up some players to teach you the ropes. Where are you located for gaming and do you have an army built to play? Are you wanting a regular gaming thing or one off session? Last item is a new edition of AOS is coming sometime this year so take that into account as we don’t know how things are going to change.
I am in Portland and looking to do a Gretchin Kharadron Overlords army

@weav, I will have my cursed city.
@Lyraeus After Cursed City has wound down I will be up for some AoS.
We shall see. I dont own an army

That does make it interesting but what I am seeing is that everything is the same but X has +A but -B and that happens for all races and units.
There does not seem to be anything like fun units like giant elephants or some form of engines of war outside of the basic age of bronze, etc.
It is basically Age of Empires but you get various races. That is interesting but not really going to drag me in at the moment

Oathmark is a mass-combat fantasy game, akin to old school Warhammer Fantasy Battle or Kings of War. Square bases, ranks, flanks, and all that good stuff.
Age of Sigmar is a fine game, but it’s not my preference for fantasy wargaming.
I can see that. It seems Oathmark is very generic and not a lot of army variance or am I missing something?
-
I will be open to Crusade and normal 40k.
Also looking to learn AoS
-
So I am getting into Age of Sigmar, someone sold me on the idea of Gretchin Sky Pirates and I as a Navy Veteran was already enamored with the Kharadron Overlords but my inner Grot could not be ignored.
So would anyone be able to teach me to play?
-
Ok, all I know now is that I need someone to teach me to play sigmar...

I hear ya. Before I sold my business at the end of 2019, I had CONSIDERABLE time to game because I could schedule it whenever I wanted and therefore could play with people with all kinds of schedules. I have to say: I miss that freedom. The new reality is considerably less cool from a gaming perspective. Being a Wage Slave again sucks. I opened another agency RIGHT after selling my other one and...COVID two months later. Talk about bad timing. Luckily I had suitors.
Good luck on that! I work from home so I have a lot of leeway

Basically its just three guaranteed games. Pretty sweet.
That is what I would like. Right now I might be getting 1 club game, 1 home game a week and hopefully my friend opens his place on monday so then I would get 3 games a week....ahhhh the life of someone with no outside life 😛

Someday I will get to go to a tournament again...someday

I'd be down to play. With hybrid learning and little league, my schedule is a bit impacted during the week, but I can occasionally arrange a weekday game depending on my wife's schedule. Weekends are usually free. Also, I have an outside table at my house (for when the weather is good) and should be getting an inside one, too, shortly. Feel free to DM me for my contact info or let me know how you'd like to get in touch.
Re Covid: I've gotten both shots and will be two weeks out from my second dose on 5/13. I work from home. Wife is a doctor, but she's fully vaxxed.
Its always a question of location. I dont currently drive so its an annoying problem but we can figure things out.

I have a small set up that I am slowly growing from an Incursion sized table to a Strikeforce sized table.
I am looking for people in the Portland area that would like to play some games.
I am vaccinated, I live on my own, and I work from Home so I don't get out much outside of Tuesday/Thursday Games. Sometimes works impedes my ability to go to the Clubhouse (like today) so I am putting out the call to though who would like to game on non clubhouse game days

Cant make it tonight. Work has occurred
