Sgt. Rock
This guy came up with a friggin' brilliant idea, and I intend to give it a whirl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74mVxMN0_fs&feature=youtu.be 1
andy
He says CA Cement, but he clearly means plastic cement. CA will just give you an interesting rock in the bottom of your bottle. 1
Ish
I'm reasonably certain that the bottle of Tamiya Cement he shows in the video is methyl ethyl ketone, not cyanoacrylate ("CA glue"). Methyl ethyl ketone is technically a solvent and not a glue.
VonVilkee
Correct to the above. That "glue" is a solvent and it is awesome! Many say you can make a gap filling version by dropping sprues into the bit left at the end but I've preferred to just force very small amounts of green stuff in or slices of sprue and then let the solvent work to marry the sprue sliver to the rest. 1

Sgt. Rock
I saw that comment and just hung my head in shame at the human race.
Pecksata
Vallejo liquid plastic. Liquid green stuff is only good for texturing.
PourSpelur
I'm a big fan of Milliput for gap filler. Being water based, it's a breeze to smooth and blend. Will still try this, can't have enough tools in the toolbox.
Pecksata
It’s good for the small gaps and holes. Chips and files easy and is easy to spread. Millput I use for the big gaps but liquid plastic is great for the seams
Ish
I’m partial to Perfect Plastic Putty. No need to futz around with chemicals.
Pecksata
Works just as good on plastic. Easy to wipe of excess.
