What's old is new again. I didn't play the first time around, but I have a hankering for some spaceship action.

I found multiple rules sets, and there appears to be an active living community.

well I am just north of Woodburn lol... I was thinking ORDO clubhouse is probably the furthest I would want to go depending on the day.  All the way through to the other side is a harder thing typically for me lol.

Recently, a friend and I have started playing games at Oregon City G&G. When we play is Monday nights since that's when 40k is scheduled at the store.  I am pretty much new, and he hasn't played since 2005, so we are stumbling while relearning the game.

So far, we've played a couple of basic learning games. We usually start around 5-6pm and the store has several good tables to play on. If enough people with fleets want to play, we cat set up more scheduled games.

I have 1 "space" table cover and some "space terrain" to get 1 table started, so anything else helps.  So far, we have Imperial, Chaos, and Ork.

I’ve got one painted fleet (Eldar) and several other fleets needing assembly and paint. - and a space mat around somewhere. After the holidays I’d be up for popping out to OC for some BFG.

looking ahead to a week from Monday ... (jan - 9th?) I will gather my Eldar up and dust them off.  But I may try to put together something else from what I have on hand. What point size are you guys doing?

I work in Tualatin / Sherwood - live south of the metro area - near Aurora / Hubbard - I can get to G&G probably around 5 typically.

Cool, Monday Jan 9th. I'm in and 5:00 is about when we start.  So far, we've been playing 1500 pts.  Seems to work for creating a balanced force centered around a battleship.

Battlefleet Gothic might just be the best game GW ever published, certainly one of the top five. Oregon City is a bit too far for me to reach regularly… But, damn, am I tempted.

Hey - I had a pretty busy weekend - and now I am playing catchup on some family projects - so I won't be out for BFG tonight.  sorry.

I will have to look at my calendar - I Have a funeral to prepare a slideshow for on the 17th (my sister in-law) - Anyhow, that's what will be keeping me busy this week.  If I can push through it I think I can do the 16th - if I get things in order by next weekend 🙂

Any good Tyranid STLs out there for BFG? I've been through Etsy but seems like it's mostly Imperial / Chaos with a smattering of Orks.

I seen some stuff on Thingiverse... cults and some "bug like" stuff on MyMiniFactory... I will give it a look tonight for links.

Look for things like “Space Kraken” or “Space Whales,” which tend to show up in a lot of other space ship games.
