PourSpelur
Trying to figure out a good Bastion for my Emprah worshipping, punk rock Sisters army. Thinking about either foamboard or insulation foam. Shooting for a mix between... And Any ideas/concepts that just need to be there? Flying buttresses and neon signs seems like too good of an idea to pass up.
KAPcom
Having the pillars be made of speakers would be cool. Or, having the entire thing be a massive stage, ala Brutal Legend:
WestRider
Well, the Sisters of the Bottle thing makes me think you should just slap a 40 or something down on the table for it ;)
PourSpelur
Well, the Sisters of the Bottle thing makes me think you should just slap a 40 or something down on the table for it ;) I still have my shot objective markers I made for OFCC...
WestRider
Those were also kind of in the back of my mind when I made the suggestion. Actually, I think the footprint of a 40 is a bit small for a Bastion. Probably better to go with a 1.75l of whiskey or something ;)
PumpkinHead
I have a 3L of jack that you could use. It is a little tall, but I think the base is about the same size.
PourSpelur
Funny side story about Jack. I really enjoy it but limit myself to two. After two, I think I'm being really witty and charming...in reality I'm kind of being an [Clown];)
PourSpelur
Oooh, how about something more like this... There's an old picture of a Sister's church tank somewhere out there.
sgt_smokey_bacon
You could build it out of empty Pabst Blue Ribbon boxes, like paper art. A couple 12 packs broken down would get you enough to cut out details to add. You can draw it on the cardboard side, and keep the logo side facing out. You wouldn't even need to paint it.
Guest
Really love the church tank idea. Could just have an "Immobilized" version for the Bastion. Could also use as a bane-blade variant in games of apocalypse.

Guest
Probably a bit late, but I found these guys: Using google to convert their dimensions in MM, looks like the top version should fit on a baneblade, as it's about 5" x 5". Might even squeeze it onto a land raider, as those are about 6" x 4" (without sponsons).
PourSpelur
Thanks Pax! Yeah the Church+ Tank= Chank idea slowly morphed into Church+ Drop Pod= awesome idea that my OFCC list is built around. ;) Speaking of Drop Churches...waiting for the silicone to dry in the first mold right now!
Guest
Pictures when you can. I'm slowly building a drop pod WHFB-like tower. Gonna call it Rook.
