pretre
Context? Where did it come from? What does the rest of the device look like?
Purplepeopleeater
Context? Where did it come from? What does the rest of the device look like? The rest looks like a spark plug, because it came from our spark plug supplier in Europe, Brisk.
kb10r
It's too fat for a micro USB and too narrow to be Type A or B, could you get a picture of the pinouts? If this is USB, then it is most likely a non-standard connecter. Cameras tend to have stupid proprietary USB connecters. Great site if you know the pin outs: http://pinouts.ru/conn/
Justjokin
Well, it's something that only cares about getting 5V and Ground, with no data. Pins 1 and 4 in type A. This is just a guess at a clue...
Justjokin
I bet it's just a marketing gimmick, maybe like this little dog that services your laptop.... What would the spark plug equivalent of this be...? Edit: Notice that pins 1 and 4 are longer on this guy.
kb10r
Brilliant, You made me reevaluate what i was seeing. I assumed the void was a female port of some kind, I didn't get from the size of the finger that the whole black piece was a usb A Cable end. Good job. Nothing like a novelty spark plug usb, device, thing... Maybe it has an LED on the other end and this is how it is charged. Like a key chain, spark plug mini-light? Well, it's something that only cares about getting 5V and Ground, with no data. Pins 1 and 4 in type A. Brick Bungalow
If I had to guess I'd say it's a multi-region adapter of some kind. Perhaps for a european charger.
