  1. I've got the 2nd ed starter and ran through some of the missions there. It does seem a little better. I've got too much DW and really should be playing it more.
  2. Tomorrowland - 7/10 - mostly for being a pretty decent family movie. There are a couple of things that don't gel well, but its a Disney movie about a section of their park. So again, keep it in context. But a very nice "message" movie (ala WallE).
  3. Current season of Grimm:      p.s. emoticon limit is <insert negative adverb here>
  4. Pitch Perfect 2 - 7/10 - the plot is not as good as the first, but it is funny and it does have some great music. I'll own it once it comes out. I think I would have liked it if more time was spent with the original group than with some of the branch outs that they did. But for what it is, it was good.
  5. Well, I picked up the 303 Enfield, and got my hands on a beautiful Finnish M39 mosin. Due to restricted storage space, will be selling my 1891 mosin. :(
  6. I'd be interested in the glade guard.
  7. Age of Ultron - 9/10 This was the second time seeing this movie, and I liked it even more this time around. This time I got to listen to all the great dialog and look for cool things without being wow'd by the spectacle. Took my 14 year old daughter along and she loved it too. She even developed a crush for Hawkeye.
  8. Gordi and I are going to throw down some KoW tonight. v2.4 army lists.
  9. Still available. Buy these...I got stuff to buy with your money. :)
  10. Quick question, I have the old IK book. Is that now completely superseded by the new book?
  11. On sale at Michael's, 40% off.
  12. I just feel like if I showed up for a game, I could have no clue whatsoever about what I'm facing. Realize I started playing 40K when orks used bolters too. There just seems to be so many exceptions or new abilities outside of the normal rules. I guess I just like my games a bit simpler :)
  13. latest army lists are here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nhZLDFOHUXC2MCA6NwYQWr0HF2mSyvEWIlNH4oCtBeQ/edit#gid=1283002429
  14. Lets stick with WoW and I'll show up there with 1500pts of something. :)
  15. I'm trying to see if anyone wants to meet tonight at WoW. I can be there about 5pm or so.
  16. Getting ready to buy an 303 Enfield. However, starting to wonder if I should pick up a Yugo 98 instead while I have the opportunity. Granted, the Enfield seems like a rarity as well.
  17. So I'm not a huge 40K player. I typically get in around a dozen games a year. That said, I do happen to own 6-7 armies/allies for the game. I have quite a bit invested into it. However, I am feeling very left behind. I have a hard bound eldar book at home....and now there is already a new one. I haven't finished building the models I bought for that book yet. Granted, again, I'm a very casual 40K player...but I do recall a time when I could pretty much bust out an army and head down to gamenight if I so desired. Now though, I'm not sure I'd have a clue as to what was going on. Heck with keeping up with the meta, I'm starting to wonder how to keep up with an army. Are the days of owning multiple armies gone? Has the pace of 40K accelerated so much that I should just concentrate on a select few? Or maybe I'm just getting old. :)
  18. They think the other unit is infected....
  19. Am I the only one annoyed that now I have to get a new codex already to field my knight?
  20. So how does the campaign work? Do we field 140pts in a game? or only 70? To lazy to read the rules. :)
  21. I might be in with Forge Fathers. I just gotta see if I can find them. :)
  22. I think it is the DDRC that holds M1 Garand certification classes. Fairly cheap, and then you can enter a match to actually shoot the guns (they have loaners). Once certified, you can then order Garands from the CMP. Would be fun just to learn and shoot the Garand. Would have to sell quite a bit more in order to afford one though.
