  1. I'll be there with my brawl list and winning personality. I'll also have a draft of the Wrath pack with me for a select few to snoop at.
  2. I agree about the DO's If Skull Crushers weren't in the book, Dragon Ogres would be pretty popular. Not the Armour of Knights, but they can't be popped with killing blow.
  3. Portland's newest GT! Rose City Wrath: check it out! http://teamamericawhp.blogspot.com/?m=1
  4. If a unit has poisoned attacks, and takes the BoEF, do they get both effects? I know that the effect does not work with magic weapons, but I am not sure about how it does, or does not stack with poison attacks as a base rule on a unit. If it doesn't stack, can I get a page reference?
  5. Remember that multiple wounds are halved, so generally you need 3-4 cannon shots to kill it. And impact his are great. I ran 2 stone horns a few OFCC's back. If you have an iron blaster, they stonehorn will not draw the canon hate. They are great at grinding through infantry, and they also look cool. People often call monsters cannon bait, but sometimes they forget that their might be more important targets. What I am getting at is that this is one of the most durrable monsters in the game, and while yes, people will shoot at it, they will generally forget about shooting at more important stuff and still not kill your stonehorn before it gets stuck in.
  6. I should be there with 2400 to test out.
  7. I should be there with the fat camp.
  8. If you're going to have a comp system, it needs to be something players can work twords, and know the target they're shooting at. This deadline doesn't need to change. A lot of lists were set in and the Raters didn't start getting them until more than two weeks after many of them were sent in. Also, the scenarios need to be streamlined. I understand the want for quirky scenarios but this year is bordering on silly. I would also like to see us go back to making matchups for round one, and then doing further match ups based on how teams go. That way the match ups self adjust.
  9. If it means you're in, I'll volunteer to be your round one opponent.
  10. Just Build the list you want. It's about how you run the list, not what you have. If you play the list like a dick, then you are a dick. If you play the list to a theme, and aren't a dick about it, then there is no problem.
  11. One of my players brought a wood elf arm you made entirely of pygmy in jungle animal models. It was pretty well received.
  12. Like regular rank-and-file but with a 1/2" space between each model.
  13. I have played ogres since near the beginning of seventh edition. I'm a bit of a reckless gambler, so my games generally swing one way or the other pretty heavily. The tagline is because I run an event called Food For the Blood God.
  14. I'm generally a believer in the idea of fun is in the player not the list. Additionally my list is generally about getting across the table quickly, so that's alright.
  15. 'Spose I'll bring my 2800 point list as a backup too. see you guys Sunday.
  16. I need to get some practice in for the open. Anyone down for 3k?
  17. If you are looking to trade for skull crushers, pm me. I have 6. Magnetized so they can be a unit if 6, or 2 units if three with full command.
  18. 717 se main in Portland.
  19. You are right I had forgotten this had been tidied up! Also, if someone wants to tank with their bastiladon, then go for it I guess...
  20. Just because it isn't meant to be a tank doesn't mean it shouldn't be a troop type monster. It is great for what it does in that army (at least the solar engine) and fits the theme of lizards. Besides, they already have 3 good combat monsters anyway.
  21. If it is for OFCC, they had a 4 monster limit for the lizards.
  22. Ambushing Khornedogs are great for keeping people honest. They aren't hard to deal with, but they MUST be felt with.
