How is it that we look down on Healthcare around the world when in Mexico you can have a two-hour housecall with a doctor for $50, preventative care is the norm and complex procedures like EKGs and CAT scans cost less total than my US co-pay?

Sadly, no Ordo swag that I can use for a photo but I have finished my relocation to sunny Mexico. The wife and I are in San Miguel de Allende for a year or so now. The glories of both working remotely. For those interested in where this actually is, Google Maps knows and has solid street view images to show you what a beautiful place this is... https://www.google.com/maps/place/San+Miguel+de+Allende,+Guanajuato,+Mexico/@20.9150532,-100.7447025,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x842b51af9871bc0f:0x653101031d07b0a4!8m2!3d20.9144491!4d-100.745235?hl=en And just to salt the wounds of those who suffered the insane temperatures last week, we're at 6200' so my daytime highs have been in the 80s since we got here. (Tomorrow the rain hits and we probably are not above 70.)

I would say that banks are the devil but I don't hold the devil in such low regard.

As simple as it was, my wife and I also both really liked the (typical Marvel) scene at the end of the credits.

Sadly, you begin as a snotling and can draw random matches against the God-Emperor. You know you are in trouble when you own two models and your opponent is complaing that 10,000 points is too restrictive for him to bring all his good stuff.

WTF? I am so confused now... Jacobs can't own the IP as it is still an ongoing concern managed by a different company. How are they not being sued for every penny they've raised by Broadsword Online (ne Mythic Entertainment)? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea but I can't see backing it until it comes out for fear that it will become vaporware.

Fortunately he was spared knowing that there are people who have read the thread but not voted for either movie. I bet he's not prepared for that concept either.

For those who missed it but would be interested.

The announcement I saw was posted at 2pm Pacific this afternoon. It will run two weeks or until 5 million copies have been given away. Current DLC was removed in preparation for a bundle but all future DLC will be free to anyone who owns the game (including those from this free period) and the developed is committed to supporting it through October 2018 according to the announcement. https://www.polygon.com/2017/6/8/15765330/payday-2-free-steam

Roll20 also benefits greatly if the DM has a paid account. The rest of the players don't need anything more than the free account.

I think Sandwich should be main course, not discourse... Unless they are finger sandwiches. If you have a sandwich dis-course does that mean you didn't like it?

I am *soooo* gonna start making custom UIs using these colors and naming them as suggested by the AI.

From a Steam review... And that, right there, is why I love Paradox's 4x games.

Ashes of Shadowbane? I suppose with an average experience of 5-10 years in the field you might have missed Shadowbane but I am not sure that is a valid excuse. Also, it's a logical fallacy that you can choose to focus on the aspects of the game that appeal to you and ignore others unless Housing and Caravans and Markets are part of the PvP aspect as they can be destroyed or otherwise impacted by PvP.

o.0 You're having problems with a pose in a movie poster about a franchise where lots of aliens mine the hollowed out skull of a titan floating in space facilitated by the fact that the interior of the skull has a breathable atmosphere. Does this poster not show all the important things about Starlord's character? Is it not cool? Methinks youse overthinking this one.

I don't think it matters what it actually means. If you tell me you spatchcocked my dinner I think I am skipping it and stopping for a bite on the way home. (When my wife roasts chicken she spatchcocks it but that's not something you discuss in polite company.)

The Black Company and Wheel of Time coming to TV
Duckman replied to Brother Glacius's topic in Warpspace
Give up now. Those are ambitious properties and there's no way that Hollywood stands a prayer. Lets be honest, even Jordan couldn't keep it from being a sloppy mess when the decision was made to change it from 5 books to an open-ended series (and if that comment does not make sense, go back and re-read book 5 and write the outline for it so you can see which chapters were slapped on as an after though to rewrite the rules of the universe so they could extend things). I've got to say that be it TV or movies about the only thing that Hollywood is handling well right now is Superheroes (and Game of Thrones although most of you will call me a heathen if I voice my opinions on why that is). From _I, Robot_ to _Ghost in the Shell_ to _All You Need Is Kill_, their movie adaptations have really come down to a use of a name (and sometimes not even that) with very little relation to the actual subject matter and story line that was the basis of the material. -
ESO is free-to-play next week on Steam, Xbox and PS4
Duckman replied to Duckman's topic in PC and Console Games
Glad you got it worked out. Since I play on PC I knew it was available but not how to hook you up any better than I did. For those enjoying I know the PC version is marked down 66% this week and I assume the same is true for other platforms. I played back at release and my friends and I all bailed on them because they made mistakes that could have been avoided if they had paid attention to anything learned in the prior 20 years of MMOs. This is the third anniversary and they've made enough improvements that I have been playing and enjoying for free for about a month now. They offer a cash shop (cosmetics and exp buffs), they have 4 DLCs which are optional and they offer a subscription (EXO+) which includes an exp and cash buff, access to the DLCs and some crown currency (their cash shop coin). It also includes one thing you cannot get anywhere else... A bottomless crafting goods bag that is great if you want to do crafting. -
Aaaahhhh, shadup with the gettin' old stuff says the guy who watched the it in grad school the year it was released. On topic though, I have not been able to bring myself to go watch the movie because the divide I am picking up in the reviews seems to have a lot to do with what portion of the original was important to you. I don't doubt that GitS (2017) is a great action film. My problem is that I liked GitS (1995) for the character development of Motoko Kusanagi...

Duckman replied to Duckman's topic in PC and Console Games
Sorry, man. I am not a console gamer and can't help you. If this is something you want to get into I'd suggest pursuing it the way you would any other login issue with your PS4 (however you normally handle that). -

http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2017/04/10/join-the-eso-free-play-week Did you maybe check before 7am Pacific? If there's still a cost, complain to Sony. I see a "Try Free Demo" button at https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/the-elder-scrolls-online-tamriel-unlimited-demo/cid=UP1003-CUSA00132_00-GAMECLIENTTRIAL0
