No clue on the development time for the Knight Titan project. That said the Dreamforge stuff has been out a while, long enough that the "just in between the big and little proxy" size feels like a specific design choice by G'dub... Rumor has it that Orks get a new codex this summer. That may drastically change the situation. That said, I like the Dakkajet right now. Not super great but a solid choice with an awesome model.

Lobbas are money. Cheap, indirect fire and great for clearing either hordes or sniping characters/specialweapons/banners whatever.

I just used the airbrush paint because it has a good strong pigment, mixes easily and I have a ton of it. I can't see having any trouble with Vallejo.

Are you thinking about the KillaKan/KFF FAQ? Only the kans within 6 of the Mek get the cover save because they're a squadron. The whole boyz mob gets the cover save if one is within 6 of the Mek because they're a unit. At least that's how I believed it worked

Watched "The Good, The Bad, And The Weird" again last night. Blew me away again 9/10. It's foreign, it's subtitled, some of the Manchurian/Korean/Japanese cultural references I don't understand and it feels like they tried to push the badassery of one character a little too far in one scene. That's my only complaints and they're minor at that. Everything else is simply amazing! Lots of side factions fighting, racing, cheating and killing each other in search of a map. Complex story that's easy to follow, characters with depth (even the evil torturing psychopath is understandable and almost tragic). The end is freaking amazing, when I realized the secret behind the Finger Chopper.....totally worth watching. On Netflix now. Do it, You know you want to ;)

Didn't notice it being particularly shiny. The last pic in my "Mutant Skum" thread is a finished tank I used it on. The darkest skin by the main cannon has magic wash. The next two shades of skin working towards the back of the turret have traditional light pin washes and heavy drybrush for comparison.

What? Really? Why? I kinda like the look of them. That said, they do have a "designed to ride though the neighbor's yard" aesthetic.

I used: 1 part Future 4 parts water 4ish drops green airbrush paint 6ish drops black airbrush paint 13ish drops brown airbrush paint In a travel shampoo bottle. Just mix 4:1 water:future for a base and tint to taste

Tried the Future Floor Polish wash method the other day. I gotta admit, it impressed the hell out of me! I like how it really pulls into the recesses. In all honesty I'll probably never buy another wash again, it's that good. That and my obsession with mixing my own paints paints are a dangerous combination.. ;)

Making a 2k army for $250-$300 is gonna be tough. Start pouring over craigslist, rogue trading here and any other source of second hand models you can find. Your list will be dependent on what you can get for cheap, not what you'd like to have. Not saying it can't be done, just letting you know it'll be incredibly difficult and take some time. I could detail this up quite a bit still. More warts, weeping wounds and rusty armored plates can always be added but I'm gonna call it done for now. Ya know...G'dub has a lot of faults. A willful ignorance of internet culture, a big fish in little pond attitude and a downright schizophrenic business plan. That said, they can make some beeyoutifullll kits! I wasn't too impressed at first, the more I see the more I change my mind.
