What's the thought behind lists? I have a pretty soft 2k Guard list I'm working on for OFCC. I also have a scratch built Ork Knight Titan I'm almost done with. Krumpus Da Magnifukunt...Da Masnifigant...Da Reely Hooge;) Fits as a Freeboota mercenary for my Mutant Skum.

Looks fantastic but...aren't you supposed to eat your broccoli, not base with it? In all seriousness, what did you do to the Reindeer Moss to keep it from falling apart? I tried using it for small shrubs but couldn't get it to work. Great looking stuff!

Just spitballing but wouldn't Blood Angels be the Codex of choice for super heavy slaying? Lots of jump pack troops with melta guns in rear armor, flyers with more melta dropping dreads etc...

I heard the VDR horror story about a monolith with 100 las-pistols on one side... Or the Rogue Trader army of convicts on hoverboards with bombs in their chests: race forward, get shot, die, turn 4 explode all the corpses and win. No system can have a ton of options and not be breakable that I've ever heard of. I'd rather have my options and play so that WE have fun. Not play so that I have fun and you go home crying.

Anyone know the measurements for the base? Did my googling but haven't found anything besides "bigger than regular oval" ;(

Better players than I will probably tell you how wrong I am (and they may be correct) but I've really enjoyed grenade launchers on my vets with an autocannon in a Chimera. The added versatility of the grenade launcher really helps fill gaps.... Mostly it's because they're freaking cool looking though. ;)

Bro G: Holy cow, I missed that! So does that mean I can't take Knight allies with my Orks but I can take a Knight detachment?

I'm all about a new giant robot! I was just saying it being smack-dab between the heights of a competitor's (to be honest Dreamforge isn't nearly large enough to be a threat) similar models probably wasn't a mistake. ;)

Westie: you nailed it in my opinion. The game itself isn't broken, just broader. A lot of the negatives I see thrown up about this brave new world we're playing in can be solved with a two minute conversation or four text messages. Sure there will be D-bags that see you pull out your rhino riding Black Templars and chuckles as he pulls out 5 Knight Titans. Same guy that crushed with his Psyfleman-Paladin list . Before that it was leafblower, after falcon spam, after rhino rush... Fun opponents will still act like fun opponents. A-holes will still act like a-holes.
