Hey, not a fantasy player but the thread title caught my eye. Did you name your army after a reference from the movie "Cabin Boy"?!?

Have you considered hellhounds to keep opponents out of your 24 inch minimum fire arc? Hide em behind the supa heavy so they don't get shot, someone gets inside your bubble just jump around and burn em. All the chimera based fast attack options could do the job pretty well and their shorter ranges wouldn't be a hindrance in that role. Then again I've NEVER actually won a game yet so take my advice with a heaping spoonful of salt! ;)

Are you using the Heroclix guys? I'm curious on how they repaint and base. Take some pics and let us know

More cheap Orks=WIN Actually now that I think about it, kinda meh. Unless the new dex makes ard boys better they aren't a great choice. Big Meks are fun but not super and a warboss without Mega Armor or a bike is pretty lame.

Hmmm maybe I'll hammer out another twelve or thirteen lists

How about... Sister Superior: Sabbot sword, Blessed mantle Sisters x10: 1 Flamer, 1 Melta, Retributor x2: 1 Hvy Bolter, 1 MultiMelta Seraphim x1: Dual hand flamers In total. 8 bolter dames, a hvy bolter, flamer, melta, multi-melta, jumpy pyro and choppy-ish boss lady with 9 points to spare.

Loking over the army list and not seeing as many special weapons as I'd expect. Jump packs and dual hand flamers sounds fun though ;) Part of me kinda wants to paint them very clean and regal. Maybe a classy ivory base with deep purple robes and shining silver trim. A bigger part of me wants to do em up like an 80's glam metal band. Black armor, tons of gold bling and wild animal prints!

Times like this make me wish I lived in England. Unclear rules? Head over to Bugman's and ask a "rules writer" 12 HP is a tough nut to crack, even at AV13. Remember. you can fill it with Lootaz, switch some Lootaz to Meks and fix a ton of HP every turn!

As I've never played Sisters or HoR Kill Teams I'm not sure what a decent list would look like. Could I make a decent team out of.... sisters of battle: saint celestine 5 seraphim 3 sisters repentia 1 mistress of repentence 10 battle sister with bolters 2 sister superior with plasma 1 sister with storm bolter 1 sister with flamer 2 rhinos (with inquisition hatches) I'm working on a trade and the guy offered me this list. Obviously I can't use rhinos but I'd appreciate some feedback on if a Kill Team could be hammered out of these ladies. Thanks!

No idea on how to fix Nids...As for a fun game, anyone remember the old Tyranid assault mission? Regular game, every Nid unit killed returns next turn, if you don't get tabled in seven turns you win! Some of my favorite second edition games. Really captures the endless onslaught feel. Doesn't fix a weak codex but does allow for a fun game with a friend.

It's a hardcore tourney. At the top tables it's 40ka for "pinks", winner takes the loser's army home. Traditionally the winner keeps the defeated general and gives the army back. Last year the winner smashed his opponents army to pieces with a hammer, right in front of the former owner!..........Nah it's a laid back tourney focusing mainly on enjoying the gameside (never been, just an outsider's observation) The interesting thing is the ruling board looks at everyones list and rates the difficulty before the event. The crazy strong lists get told to tone it down. This is what puzzles me about Bro G's question. What's your the point about worrying about the crazy strong ally possibilities in a tourney with rated lists?

G'dub is just going through a hard time right now. If you knew them like I do you'd see that. Remember when they used to put cool stuff in White Dwarf? Good times. Plus I have all these models, what would I do with them if I played another game? Sure a billion missle suits seems bad now but remember Paladins? Water under the bridge....me and GW ...forever;)
