Sherbert
I only ever get a beer and then pick at other peoples food when they are not looking like a god damn scavenger so I am down with anything as long as its not extremely loud. Wiccus
Yeah lately I've been eating before game night and just getting a beer or 2 as well. I will go wherever people want.
smashthedean
I'm up for anything. I'd suspect that the Shakedown would be particularly loud since it's primarily a music venue, but I suppose we could try it. I also would be up for trying McKay's again. nathonicus
The Racket is also an option. Shakedown has food?
smashthedean
Is The Racket not super loud too?
Sherbert
I was just at the racket (granted this was a Saturday afternoon) and they did not have music playing and it was nice and quiet.
Munkie
...and we're absolutely sure nooobody is being ironic right now? Cause... ...can't tell.
Fix
So I'd say McKays was a bit of a win tonight. Beer was a bit more costly, but a huge selection and we were the only party in the place. They said it was a bit slower than usual for a tuesday, but their usual crowd is from 6-9. Lots better than the last time we tried it. Lack of pitchers and the petty pints is a bit [big bad swear word].
smashthedean
I ended up being sick and had to miss out, but I'm glad it went well. Would people be up for going there again next week?
nathonicus
Food was pretty 'meh', but it was comfy and relatively quiet.
