indeed. i'm still trying to find a good role for the yt-2400 NOT using the outrider title. A 2 attack dice ship starting at ~30 points is tough to justify without some sort of other awesomeness.

yes. autothrusters on interceptors is a great counter to the 360" firing arc of solo and now dash rendar and co. the only way i see to get the yt-2400 to work is to pay the outrider title tax and put a heavy laser cannon on it - thus needing yer opponents to stay at range to shoot. autothrusters gives the interceptors a free evade against that.

The assault on black reach orcs are great fro BB. Just make sure to base them all on 28mm and keep their poses not too crazy as you lay down models to simulate them getting knocked down.

Actually there is a new role for the melee flyrant...in melee! FMCs now have jink built in without swooping. The new spore cloud provided by venoms and malans will give yer tyrant a 2+ cover save when gliding. So no need to swoop if yer opponent doesnt have easy ways to negate cover. Now yer tyrant can stay on the ground and be ready to assault whatever he needs to. One nice change that 7th brought.

the vindicator will only net you a few hits on the squad. and any that land on the WL can be look out sir'd over to the Iron priest where they get to do their own invuln saves. I dont think vindicators have a high enough rate of fire to do any meaningful damage to this kind of build. you need Eldar hornets. =)

Since they have seperate codex entries, I would answer no, they are diff units.

Compared to other current movie trailers, yes, it showed very little. It didn't show every action sequence in the movie. It didnt show the multiple best one liners. It didnt show the pinnacle of the climax. It didn't show you who is falling in love. I am quite alright with knowing as much as we do.

It depends on how you want yer necrons to play. As burk pointed out, they have answers for melee and damn good ones. Warscythes are still one of only two AP1 close combat weapons in the game - so you get that great +2 against vehicles and you cut through 2+ armor. Along with the MSS, necrons can rush if they want. If you have fun shooting, go with a good mix of warriors and immortals. Between tesla and guass, you got yer anti infantry covered. Ya got some good options with that army.

ya. i get major flac for this, but i do not like abram's style. i dont want a shaky handy cam shot of the falcon doing flips - its enough i'm already along for the ride. i definitely appreciate a more serious tone since ESB is my favorite but he's gonna have to work to sell ME on his vision

allies are a normal part of the game now so i do not see them being restricted. maybe just no unbound.

regular 40k. the escalation comes from increasing point values every week.
