  1. super cool looking models! I’m excited to see what all is in the House of Chains book when it comes out. Glad it’ll have more than just special stuff for goliaths.
  2. Its the first week of the Damnation phase for the Necromunda campaign. I’m going to be there for games and to walk folks through the changes to income, injuries, etc.
  3. What matt meant to say is, do you know who runs/organizes their leagues or game nights? Us reaching out and talking to the store personnel doesn’t always do as much to get the ball rolling. Have that person shoot a message to @Dark Trainer if you do.
  4. Thanks for the heads up! We’ve had a couple people find themselves in the same way. We’ve got plans for more campaigns in the future, but we’ll be ceding turf to the 40k escalation league for the near future. if you can pop in for a pickup game, consider it an open invite - happy to keep your gang on the roster, and I’m also always down for one offs.
  5. Cool. Sunday is definitely a pretty safe bet. Should have a few folk looking for games. This is still week 5, (first week of the damnation phase) so you’re not behind, necessarily. I can plan to have my stuff with me Saturday, if it seems like there’s room.
  6. FWIW, there is the gamer garage sale happening on Saturday, so the club will be open, but I do not know whether there will be club space. my plans are a little in flex at the moment, but I’ll post up later in the week, if I can make it work.
  7. You should be good to go - I've outline the changes we'll be making over here All territories become ruined for the damnation phase, and we'll start using the rules for Starvation, Scavenging and Festering Injuries. Additionally, I'm going to have us stop using the capturing territories rule, and bring anybody who has got less than 3, back up to 3. Folks who are above, will just get to stay that way. I'll walk folks through the income phase and allocating resources (MEAT) tomorrow night as needed.
  8. Oy, Scummers! The hive is in disarray. Patrols of enforcers are running amok, and hivers are in full scale revolt. Rumors of monsters and cannibals abound. For the next 3 weeks, several new rules come into play. All of these are pulled from the Dark Uprising rulebook: Starvation, Scavenging and Festering Injuries. All territories are considered ruined, but you may now collect meat and scavenging rolls from them. Additionally, any free recruits or retiring gangers can be turned into portions of meat. I'm sure you're just trading their services.... don't think about it too hard. Before your first game, roll you income, and allocate your food resources. Anyone who isn't fed becomes subject to starvation - their Strength counts as 1 lower for all normal purposes. If a starving fighter activates within their max charge range of a seriously injured fighter, they must pass a willpower test. If they fail, they will charge the downed fighter and make a cannibalize action. A starving fighter cannot make a coup de grace, but will instead make a cannibalize action. Because, you know, the hunger! THE HUNGER!! One other thing I'd like to adjust - I feel like the rules for capturing territories aren't serving folks super well. Being on the back-foot feels super punitive. What I'd like to do - anyone who has captured territories is fine, keep yours the way they are (and shoot me a message if your yaktribe profile doesn't represent it accurately). Anyone who has less than 3 territories, we'll roll for new ones to get you back up to full strength. Moving forward, I think we will just ignore capturing for the rest of the campaign. Thanks folks let me know if there's any questions or concerns. -jeffrey
  9. I'll be there around 4, ready to throw down some Necromunda. Damnation phase of the campaign kicks off, so we'll start by duing ruined income, and making sure you can feed your gangers. I'll have updated pre and post game sheets to cover the basics, and pull in a modified scenario table.
  10. Hey scum Week 3 closed out last week, with narrow victory for Chaos. We are entering the Downtime period for the week. as outlined in the dark uprising book - 1. fighters recover 2. Captives are returned 3. experienced juves (5+ advances) are promoted to champions. 4. Fresh recruitment - Everyone gets 250 credits that can be spent on fighters, house list equipment or hangers-on (including brutes). These funds are use it or loose it - so they can’t be added to your stash. I’m aiming to have some side battles and quirky missions to play, hopefully it’ll time out that we can get some multiplayer games going. Posting up in the game night thread will be a huge help in letting me know how to coordinate. Or shoot me a pm if you’re worried about Helmar’s goons tracking your every move. Thanks to everyone that took part last night! Both for playing, and for your patience with me sorting out what to do with those multiplayer missions. I’ll definitely have an improved idea of what to do with the Sunday players. I forgot to take any photos, unfortunately, but we ran the ‘Meeeaaaatttt!’ Scenario, with incredibly tough zombies, and the ‘war in the shadows’ scenario, both from the book of ruin. After this week: we’ll begin the damnation phase - with chaos in ascendency the first week. Markets will be closed, credits will be worthless. The rules for Scavenging, Starvation and Festering Injuries will be in effect. I’ve also got an updated scenario chart, pulled from a recent goonhammer article. Should hopefully allow for a little more variety. cheers and watch out for sump spiders -jeffrey
  11. Hey folks super glad we’ve been getting so many Munda games in lately. I’ve been trying to log feedback as we go, and been trying to catalogue any issues, but figured it makes for good discussion as well. From the dark uprising missions: i know I’ve heard the concern with search and destroy and meat harvest that there is no stipulation against being able to claim objectives in your deployment zone on turn one. Similarly, a couple of them have no credit rewards for the defender, which seems a little off. curious about folks’ take on what could be some suggested fixes, or any other issues as they come up.
  12. I should be able to open around 3:30 and set up some necromunda tables! this will be the downtime week, so I’m aiming to have some custom scenarios to try out
  13. I’ll be there with necromunda in tow, ready for some zone mortalis action
  14. Hate to rain on the parade, but in my experience pla doesn’t necessarily drill cleanly (if you’re printing with resin it’s probably not a problem) wouldnt it be possible to modify the files and extrude a recessed hole into the bottom of them?
  15. if you can come by around 11, we can make sure you get a game.
  16. You might just have to branch out... you are allowed to like more than one thing 🤣
  17. Our rogue trading forum can be a great place for deals on minis, as can the gamer garage sale we have coming up, but 40k is definitely a hobby, and that sort of thing is typically expensive. Ordo tries to focus on having fun and on the hobby aspects (painting, conversions, terrain and the like) You’re always welcome to come hang out around the clubhouse during game nights to check us out, watch games being played, and ask questions. As Dark Trainer said, the escalation league is a great way to have some support if you do decide to build an army.
  18. we just don’t regularly open on Saturdays, but the club is typically free. Sometimes there are senate meetings or terrain days, but folks are generally free to get a game in if someone with a key can open/close. We’ve also been having more events lately, so some AoS tourneys and blood bowl stuff is going on once a month or so. Again, if there’s table space, club members are generally welcome to come in and play if somethings going on. I’ve got other commitments at 2 (I’m kind of a big deal in the blood bowl podcasting community, donchaknow) so if you both can do that, you guys can get a game in. if you can do earlier - say 10 or 11 - I could join in.
  19. I’m also happy to help open the clubhouse. I believe I’ll be there at around 2, regardless but could open earlier than that. also happy to play
  20. As an update - Order is ascendant for week 3. everyone should have ruined a territory last week, but I forgot to make an announcement about it. so, before collecting income for week 3, one of your territories should be considered ruined. You are allowed to choose which one is ruined trading post can be used for 1 purchase, if you sent your leader or champions there and got a rarity rating
  21. Hey all I'll try and pop a fluffier write up in here soon, but just finished all my accounting from tuesday. ( @Tamwulf I did the updates you requested for you) As it stands, Chaos has 3 wins to 1 for Order, so Order has some catch up to do tomorrow. I'm planning to open the club at 2, so head on down if you're able to get a game in!
  22. I’ll be there with all the latest for the Necromunda Campaign’s Week 3
  23. Love the story, Jay. Here’s what it inspires me to think and suggest. Feel free to incorporate, adapt or ignore at will. it seems like gathering information and investigating rumors is the first thing your gang had to do. Cold Traders could be acting to oppose you, one of the guilds could be acting on behalf of some uphive noble, and psi-syndica or witch hunters seem equally likely to be involved. after getting some info, either getting the tools to affect a recovery operation, or coming into some type of psy influence for tracking purposes could be necessary. if you can get what you need while your foes are still in the hive you should be able to infiltrate or ambush them. If you end up on the back foot, it’s possible your quarry will leave the hive or even the planet, and your recovery would be that much harder. For an intel mission: We could allow your opponent a free bonus hired scum, and give you the chance to either shake them down (as the collect a debt 7 of diamonds intrigue in book of judgement) or recover intel off their body. (Instead of rolling to capture as normal, they have relevant info on a 4+ if they were seriously injured or ooa at the end of a battle alternately take a look at the Ace-6 Subplots for the Xenos Cards (pg 158 of the Main rulebook) I’d be down to have you draw/roll before any game, and instead of the rewards listed, success would grant you either a fate point or some other marker of success on your journey. failure could put either smugglers or imperials on your trail, if not both. After some success, we could make a customized mission for your gang as the campaign draws to an end. some missions to look at for a basis: Caravan heist, archeo-hunters, escort mission or fighter down. Ghast hunters could also be a fruitful way to get some psi knowledge, or dabbling with genestealer or chaos cult influences could give you psychic influences, but at what cost.
