It's just how I managed keeping track of the points The BA and the maniple both can take a fort. And either way no one said I couldn't make an unbound list.

The DC will be in the Raven on reserve. Karlaen will be my warlord since if I don't take him my reserves won't show up until turn four. The assassin is there cause he's just a prick and I think he's fun to play.

I built a dragoon and hated more than I think I've ever hated building a model. I also really hate building models. However it looks really nice now that it is painted. Also, I've now played two games with my Rangers, and I have got to say- THEY DROP LIKE FLIES! They die so easily... I can't ever imagine running the elite choices. t3 and 4+ armor is just terrible . 10 rangers dead to one round of shooting by a wave serpent. Any competitive list I run with them I think I'll be running fortifications.

Ah. Yeah. Posting before coffee. That's a sweet call tho. I'll have to do that on all my future kits

They also have a different base weapon. Galvanic rifle on Rangers and Phosphor Thingy on Vanguard.

Sure. I'll play whatever. I just packed up a bunch of models to try together. Nothing I'm toting is super adept at blowing up a 12 HP super heavy, but I'll have a game.

True enough. I think over a few months I'll get there. I've been pretty good about not buying models faster than I can paint them lately.

I dunno. I'm not really thinking too much about the knights here. They are strong either way. What I'm thinking would suck for you is those damned bike lists. Skilled rider and all those 2/3up jinks. I'd get more lumigen and omni-specs to deal with that crap. I can just see some pile of bikes diving right in and wrecking those onagers. A third onager and at least one cognis manipulator I think would be appropriate. I know everyone will probably disagree with me on this, but I really think a squad of dragoons has a lot of potential. Dunestrider, and they attack at s8 and initiative 6 on the charge. 6 of those guys is 270 points. They can spread out cause they are walkers, making them less susceptible to blast weapons.

This list seems really susceptible to tar pitting. Err.., well at least that's what initially pops into mind for me.

Sure sure... I'd prob just run the harvest w a CAD. The +4 vs +5 protocols on the bugs is less awesome than simply having a lot of them. Or can you even do that? Can you run the harvest without running the Decurian? Honestly tho, the Decurian formation format I think is a bit meh either way. The 4 up reanimation is alright, but you can get that w cryptecs- the thing Relentless is where it's at tho, since warriors and immortals all carry rapid fire weapons.

I see that, however in my battlescribe app it has no issue with adding additional spyders to the single formation up to 3 of them- Add a fourth and you are over the limit. I believe it calls for one because one single spyder applies the buff to the formation- so he becomes the golden child. I'm not saying battlescribe is right, but why would they make a formation that basically incentivizes the use of scarabs only to limit it to one spyder?
