I think the idea behind free summons is that the summons do not gain xp. So the opponent can get xp for killing them, but you do not get any for whatever they do.

brush a little micro sol on the model I start by pressing down in the middle with a tiny flat brush. It worked very well for circle transfers on the knees. when most wrinkles are gone I put a bit of micro set on a q-tip and gently roll it from the middle out. This worked great on uneven surfaces.... until the phobos.

yes. They help a lot. But the decals shift around constantly or break apart no matter how gently I press.

I just started on the hell that is putting transfers on the right phobos shoulder pad. The transfers designed for normal shoulder pads rarely cooperate.

I think perhaps I will run a pack of Aggressors, Vulkan, Ancient, and Eradicator squads up the middle. Advancing won't hurt because they all have assault guns.

I started the hobby with the intention of making a sisters of battle army, but that was before the plastic line released. Settled on making a Salamander army because it was a lot cheaper and somewhat similar.

I was considering a Salamanders all dreadnought list. Ashmantle is an 8 wound venerable dreadnought HQ, from forgeworld. Opponents would require a ton of anti-armor because of their chapter tactic of ignoring AP -1.

I forgot that the +1 save would give them a 2+ armor save, which would be useful against AP 0. I was just thinking how -2 AP would put it at the same as invuln save. My bad.

las cannons are cheaper than multi-meltas? They better have given the MM 2 shots now.

The shields are now useless for Salamanders who already ignore AP -1. They look cool though, and that is what counts. EDIT: I forgot the lieutenant gets an invulnerable save. That is neat.

Making Forge World rules exclusive to the app would be one hell of a way to get people to buy into it.
