  1. I've been watching his flicks all day.
  2. The mod community has already made a lot of optional changes possible and the dev team supposedly has a lot of new toys under wraps too. I think it could be a very different thing in a years time.
  3. Cool. I found a guy in NYC who seems to be partnered up with producers of higher end machines and business suppliers. He's able to make machines and sell packages for 150-750 that fit efficiently into a variety of common household roles. I got pretty much every component I would have bought off of newegg from him and saved about 35%.
  4. I'm actually wondering about a wireless controller. I'm hoping that 360 or ps3 controllers can be utilized since I already have those.
  5. WOW is the Over-Hive.
  6. Looks terrific. Is two assassin's a good starting line these days?
  7. I've been out of the loop for some time... where are those models from? Did you chop them?
  8. Sure: Motherboard: asus m5a78l-m/usb3 Processor: amd fx 8350 GPU: Nvidia gtx960 RAM: 16gb ddr3
  9. So I'm breaking down and building another box after swearing it off for ten years. I should have all my major components by next week and will start assembly. I was curious if anyone who has recent knowledge could be bribed to help me with stuff like thermostat, benchmarking et cetera. I can compensate with spare computer parts or miniatures or beer or cash or inappropriate favors or whatever. In the meantime if you want to give me feedback I still need a solution for wireless control and a recommendation for a case fan. Oh, I'm in vacouver washington for those that don't know. Thanks!
  10. Well, our game night isn't that far from the county line. Otherwise there is CloudCap and EpicGaming. Both Western Oregon Wargaming and Guardian Games are closeby in SouthEast and have weekly gaming events.
  11. I totally want to play some boardgames! What time does this thing start again?
  12. I like habitat for humanity, city liquidators or the goodwill bulk outlets for this stuff. If you need new gear or something in uniform multiples I still rely on ikea... as was mentioned you can get steel or hardwood units there.
  13. http://www.fiberopticproducts.com/Models.htm
  14. quite literally, we sell out of these damn things almost daily.
  15. I totally get why a lot people wouldn't like it. It doesn't really fill any the requirements for any established genre. It's not a shooter, not an rpg, not even really a sandbox. You pretty much have to fall in love with the planet and star system generator mechanic. I like the minimalism because I can easily fill the story gaps with my own mental chatter. I can pretend that the caverns are filled with mystery even though I know the complete set of potential discoveries already. Star Citizen, if it ever gets released will probably eclipse it in the history of things but for now I'm having fun.
  16. This sounds awesome. I don't need any miniatures but I'd love to see ya'll again.
  17. This has gotten mixed reviews among my circle but I'm pretty much in love with it... enough to spring for a new PC. It won't be a hit with completionists or folks who like to maximize efficiency or sticklers for a coherent storyline but if you dig open world concepts, minimalist narrative, weird creatures and cryptic messages it might be your bag. I've always loved games where I could explore leisurely without too much fret over plot or imminent danger and this might be the ultimate example of a game like that. There is a certain repetition, especially with the space docks and habitats but if you relax your critical gamer and just take it in I find it's no impediment to enjoyment. The crafting and inventory system is sufficient but not really groundbreaking. Amassing credits isn't really a challenge if that's your goal... it's a good idea since credits don't fill inventory slots actually. Lots of folks complained about this facet but I thought it was fine. I thought the challenge of managing limited inventory space actually added some interest and challenge. It's not about combat, hardly. You can be aggressive or docile and it honestly doesn't make that much difference. I highly doubt there will be anything resemble a boss challenge... at least for now.
  18. If you bring it to Beaverton I can probably fix it for you.
  19. I have no strong feelings about the game itself but it's increased the foot traffic in my store by 20-30%. I sell about fifty poke-plushies a day now. So I guess I'm a fan.
  20. For what you describe I'd probably go with Polly-S or Golden.
  21. I ordered a fig from this site. They make nice stuff. https://www.heroforge.com/
  22. I've decided to liquidate the bulk of my collection and I'd like to give the club first dibs. It's about a dozen armies total, mostly fantasy. The only thing I'm keeping is my dwarves. I'll let it go for a pittance on the condition that the buyer take all of it and arranges transport (the usual deal) High Elves, Tomb Kings, Goblins, Samurai Empire, Space Marines, Vintage Eldar, Most of the first run of Malifaux, all the Inquisitor models with multiples of most figures, several boxes of assorted modular terrain. Lots of vehicle kits from various sources. A lot more. A lot of vintage 80's era figures. Far more than I can list. Most of it's fairly well organized into sewing boxes or mini drawers. Probably a dozen or so 'bitz boxes' You would definitely need a pickup truck or suv to remove it all. It occupies four full cabinets right now. I'll accept any offer over $300.00. Priority given to the person who arranges timely and complete pickup. No interest whatsoever in parting out or arranging any kind of complicated long term arrangement. All or nothing please. thanks 360 695 3724 (text) brickbungalow@gmail.com
  23. Accessory sprues are always awesome. Especially coordinated themes that allow conversion of whole armies. Take a distinctive head produce it in multiples with slight variation. Vehicle parts are great. Especially wheels/tires.
