So I got a carload of warmachine stuff today. Pictured is the unopened portion. I'm guessing about half the total lot. I will have a complete inventory on tuesday but it looks to be pretty much the entire Cygnar line with duplicates of some stuff. The remainder is a pretty even distribution of other factions including hordes. I don't have a really strong direction with how to deal with this stuff. I figure 60% or so retail for stuff that is still sealed (is that decent, I honestly don't know) Maybe 40% for stuff that has been opened. Since this isn't at my house I won't be able to answer many specific questions about items until tuesday. I can tell you that there is quite a bit of stuff painted to a solid table top standard with blends and good basing. I'll have some photos of those guys early next week. I'm totally willing to barter and deal. I can lower prices if someone wanted to pick up a significant portion on one go. I can trade fairly generously for retro era video games, complete board games and other hobby stuff. What I cannot do is deliver, this lives in at our store in Beaverton until it is sold or traded. I can entertain suggestions for side deals or whatnot within these parameters. I realize communication is a struggle and I will do my very best to return correspondence in a timely fashion and not waste anyone's time. I'm giving Ordo first dibs at this. I'll probably hit up other clubs, ebay and store customers in about two weeks time.

I'm a big fan of the formula method. Especially for league games against people I don't know.

So I have yet to play a match with the new rules but I wanted to get some feedback. It seems like the core rule and rosters haven't changed much. I'm curious to know if the game feels different. Have some teams, or tactics been enhanced or diminished by the changes? The biggest change from my perspective is the special play cards. Having touchdown stopper cards in play will mean fewer stalling tactics. If the new special play cards break down like the old decks it will also help teams advance a bit quicker. Other thoughts? Running versus passing? Bashy versus agile? Is the game more or less balanced overall?

Data is almost always recoverable in these situations. I can refer you to the guy who services our shop if you like.

Does anyone know if GW has plans to release the current BB range in singles or doubles? At present its pretty difficult to fill the rosters out.

I do not but that should be an easy sculpt. Three square rods and a dab of putty.

Pretty much what Kremmet said. I like this army a lot and would give it an excellent table top score but you asked for critique. I notice some irregularity in some of the ink washes. There are areas where they don't fully fill some crevices and others where they pool a little. Re-application of some base coats and a second wash could remedy this. Some areas are a bit lacking in highlight. I think your color choice is good but it could be more inventive. Your work on the freehand along with your conversions suggests that you want a unique army that stands out. If it were mine I would consider adding some color accents not commonly seen in other armies. Models in the codexes tend to have very straightforward color schemes with colors right out of the GW bottles matched up in simple triads. This is effective but not exciting. The freehand areas in particular could be improved with some subtle coloration. I like the effect of a blue or green wash over gray freehand work that gets mostly wiped away. All-in-all it's a terrific collection. I'd love to see more.

I ordered the new dwarf blood bowl team today. (the figures I've bought in about three years) It should be here next week. I pledge to have it finished no more three weeks after it arrives.

Downloaded Mordheim on a Steam sale. So far I like it. Interface is a little tricky but it's a good representation of the miniature game.

Howdy. Our clubhouse is looking to acquire a reasonably well painted army for display. Since I sold most of my stuff last spring I figured I'd ask the club if someone has one for sale.
