The Winter Warzone Warhammer 40,000 Escalation League kicks off tonight! This is a great opportunity to learn the ropes or brush up on some 40k. Warhammer 40k Warcry & Kill Team Blood Bowl Bolt Action And more... THE MISSION Games we play: All, with a focus on Warhammer 40K, board games, Blood Bowl, Necromunda and more. There may be talk about Eclipse: Second Dawn for the Galaxy. While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. Blustorm Posted March 1, 2020 Report Share Posted March 1, 2020 Just a heads up for anyone looking for an activity this night, I am holding another playtest session for Empire City, a board game similar to Lords of Waterdeep but with a 1920's Prohibition/gangster theme. So far I have 2-3 players lined up, but the game can scale up to 6. I am also providing pizza for all the playtesters. Start time will be no later than 6pm, game should run about 2.5 hours, followed by a 20 minute feedback session. Please post here, in the GN thread, if you are interested in being a part of the playtest. Hodor Posted March 3, 2020 Report Share Posted March 3, 2020 Just in case anyone is expecting me. I'm sitting out game nights indefinitely. My wife is pretty worried about the virus, which might seem paranoid, but she works in long-term care. If she gets sick, a lot of older people could too, and I can't argue that my entertainment is worth any risk. I'm not even doing my deliveries which is kind of double edged because I'm sitting at home painting a lot for games that won't happen haha. I'm not implying that anyone is ill, dirty, or whatever.
