Raindog
And I am waiting for paint to dry. The legs are done on two Sister. Now, I can glue them down to the stags, when they dry...... I played Peanut in a Woodie off at Game Night. he set up left, but left a weak flank. I shifted to exploit the weak flank. Peanut countered nicely. He had more shooting. I had more fighting. His Life magic kept him in the game with Regrowth spells. His lord killed off my Mage bunker. My Lord ate several of his unts and his Mage. The Lord died, but the drawn kept on. My Treeman absurdly killed his Lord in an eagle to edge out the win.
Raindog
One highlight level of white on the flag is left to go, and then, the wash.......... But that is left for tomorrow.

I wish I would have stuck to one flank. I started with a sacrificial lamb unit over on the right to try and draw more of your drops, but then I threw a few more archers down over there as the targets looked juicier. Then you dropped the dragon. Oops, should have remembered you have a dragon!
Raindog
And more letting glue and paint dry...... Two Sisters are sitting on stags. The connection points are thin. The purple and highlights on the flags are done, but not the next metal levels as we'll the stick. I primered and black coated the next Sister.
Raindog
I forgot what a pain in the butt it is to paint metal color on flimsy models. It takes patience and layering………..
Raindog
Well, this week stank for painting. Court crushed my sleep patterns. I was too tired to start until today. I have been working on the golds, the leathers, and the skin tone on the Standard Bearer. I need a bit of touch up on the gold, color the eyes, wash the upper torso, and paint the hair. Here's the question. What color for the hair? Blonde or Green? Sme of you have seen my BSB and Spell Weaver. Thoughts?
MexicanNinja
Stupid court...bring down "'he man"! Wait, you are "the man". I didn't say anything about "the man" in a negative way, I swear. Can we rage against the machine? As for the hair, you should try mixing some of the green with the blonde and do a test run. Raindog
The weather makes it hard to paint. The humidity keeps the paint from drying. I can only paint a bit at a time. I should be painting two models at a time, but I want to get the model done,
MexicanNinja
Do you have a picture of your Sisters you could share with us. Gamers like visuals.
Raindog
I played Evan tonight. Skaven vs. Woodies. Skaven shooting saved my butt and blasted the Verminlord Eshin Dude. I would like to see the model in other uses, but against it tonight, I was lucky.
Peanut
Eric, I think you're right about how to run the wild riders - i cut the champ and even musician out to save 20 points... 20 points that will buy me 1 and 1/3rd more wardancers! rudra34
That verminlord is going to be mean against certain armies. I look forward to it seeing more use, but it got absolutely punished against the elves.
MexicanNinja
Great. With Wood Elves, points are at a premium. That statement is true for all Elves.
Raindog
I am literally waiting for paint to dry on five models. My painting motivation is lacking and my progress is slow. Everything seems to distract me…….
MexicanNinja
On the plus side, your painting is superb and your WE army is one my top 10 favorite painted armies I have ever played against. Keep up the good work. It is extremely nice to look at and I get lost in the colors at times.
Raindog
I painted for ten minutes today. I will paint more layers of brown tonight.
Murphy'sLawyer
Hey Raindog, can your Elves do this? Seriously, this maybe trick shooting but the guy has only been at it for ten years. Can you imagine doing this since you could pick up a bow?

Raindog
After a weekend of sleep overs, I set my painting table on Sunday and painted for a few hours. Mostly, I painted green pants and green hair on a series of sisters. I primed the last two. Hopefully, I can convince myself to paint during the week.
Raindog
I am almost done with my tournament painting for the Brawl. The question to you is what is a good Wood Elf Cart? I was thinking a portal entry to go with the End Times Motif. I just don't see a cart in the woods. A magically traveling portal? Maybe?
Murphy'sLawyer
How about a 4 legged Dryad carrying items on its back. Or a wolf.
MexicanNinja
How many sprite bitz do you have left over? You could model a bunch of them in a "clearing" to represent messangers for the forest.
rudra34
Perhaps a lovely flower cart pulled by rainbow unicorns?
