Raindog
I assembled a Dryad. Why you may ask? Because the parts were on top of my painting table.
TJP
I assembled a Dryad. Why you may ask? Because the parts were on top of my painting table. I've seen your painting table. There's a LOT of parts on top of it
Raindog
I've seen your painting table. There's a LOT of parts on top of it I am trying to pair that down to a manageable level.
Raindog
I went to Guardian Games today. I picked up another box of Eternal Guard and a modular movement tray kit. I made a 2x6 tray for EG or archers. I base blacked painted four Glade Guard, a Dryad, and Spite a spacer. Finally, I magnetized the ten bases for the new Eternal Guard.
Raindog
Four new Eternal Guard are modeled and up. Gaming was fun tonight. The scenario was set up to encourage movement, not combat. The scenario is by no means a keeper. It was to easy to touch the tower after it hit a table edge. But, everyone seemed to have fun. The Eternal Guard are not super useful without Shadow, Life, or Beast magic, so I am hung to think about using those Lores in the future.
Raindog
I painted and flocked a model! It is a spacer: an owl on way stone. Before that, I painted three of the Ordo makers Jim Graham designed and cast for this year OFCC. And all ten of the next set of Eternal Guard are up. Now, if I can only take some photos.......
MexicanNinja
What do the Ordo markers look like?
Raindog
1. Ancient Treeman are stupid. They have loss BS, WS and attacks. They must rot with age. 2. Tree Whack is the Bomb. I splatted lots of Lizards with it. 3. Glade Lords on Dragons are fun. They can not a huge threat, but they can take the fight to where ever you need it.

Raindog
Lesson learned from tonight: Elves kill goblins. Orcs kill Elves. Second Lesson. If you need a spell to go off, it won't. Tonight, I needed one of two spells to do off. Neither did. Third Lesson. Always take a BSB.

Peanut
Its beautiful! Glade riders with hagbane is so fun. I think trueflight is wasted on them, they can always shoot from short range.
Don't Panic
every time i see this list i keep thinking "this is the reason GW allows dwarfs to bring 6 copters"... :)

Raindog
I am working on the brown layers of two models. I want to paint the layers that are hard to paint when the rider is mounted.
Raindog
The next layer is down. Now, for true GW paint: beast brown or what ever the new version of it is called.....
Raindog
............Mournfang.
Raindog
Why dos GW use such a terrible color scheme for the Sisters of Thorn? I refuse to paint that. Green and brown it will be.....
MexicanNinja
Have you considered any paints from the vallejo game color or model color range? I have found the variety to be much better over GW's paint line.
Raindog
Vallejo is my typical paint choice. I prefer GW metals. inks, and Mournfang Brown. I use DiDi's wash for my washes…….
