I have been playing with my Eldar... trying various forces and the glass cannon is really fragile lol... is an understatement. I find the primaris and new ed Marines pretty hard to deal with. They hit really hard - and are really tough. I have been trying various Eldar army lists - and really the only equal I can come up with is my Wraithwall list - just for pure staying power and killing power. It gets boring - so I only have played that list a few times before changing things up. I am working on my AdMech for a change of pace. But I am really hoping for a good Xeno codex update in the new year. d

getting my Anycubic Photon S required a little adjustment - but after everything was level and I got good exposure times things were good until I got into different resin bottles / manufacturers. Then again some test prints to get adjusted. The FEP (the film at the bottom of the resin tray) wears out - or sometimes needs to be replace - and getting things dialed in after that change can be tedious as well. But I think the support on the inter webs is pretty good with the forums and facebook groups for help. Fumes - if your inventive - its not a big deal to work out some sort of exhaust set up. -d

I couldn't toss my money at this fast enough. I have several of their games - and free league does a great job. (I have Tales from the Loop, after the flood ... & Aliens). My friends and I played lots of Twilight 2000 back in the day. -d

I have the photon S... it is a really nice little printer. I love it for detail work and bits _ and epic army stuff lol. The new photon mono x is due out soon - which will have a much larger print area. -d

yeah last weekend I seemed to have noticed it was different on my phone... then when I finally got to my laptop browser I noticed the "polished" look and feel a bit cleaner and simplified. Although, don't ignore those voices Brother G... you know they are right... -d

Filament - where does everyone get supplies? I have a few spools I had picked up - and I have ordered some direct from Prusa when I picked up the printer. But now I am running low and am looking for options. I am considering Amazon - and I had thought my local Fry's (wilsonville) had a decent supply - but yesterday I found their shelves bare. Brands, suppliers... suggestions welcome -d

got my i3 mk3s put together over the weekend and have a couple printed samples that seem to show things are in great shape and dialed in. Very happy so far.

finally - my kit shipped today - should get it early next week. 🙂

I am interested in a rulebook from the box if anyone has extras after all of this mayhem lol. -d

What phone app are you using - I have almost exclusively been using my phone (currently iPhone R) - and find that the right app makes a nice difference. That and decent lightning. -d

depending on what your looking for - I have 3 assembled/base painted that I got on a trade a few years ago... but I am not looking to collect any additional 40k / GW stuff.

I’ve been collecting bits and parts for a Mechanicus/ Skitarii army for a few years - I’ve decided not to build this army now and will be selling all the stuff off. Here is a basic list - of the stuff - NIB or still on sprue ... nothing assembled. Looking for 20% off of retail on this ... I’ll listen to bundle offers as well. Not looking for trades. • Forgebane - adeptus mechanicus half - including decals • Belisarus Cawl • Start collecting Skitarii Box w/ iron strider tossed in - on sprue as well • Kastelan Robots box • A Recast Termite Mole (similar /same as the Forge world one) • Current codex for Mechanicus/ Skitarii I may add more to this list as I locate them. I know I have a Mechanicus strider somewhere as well.

At first blush ... seems like a good place for me to shift gears away from playing 40k. maybe that will change.

In my research I have started to look into the Prusa Mini as a viable option for my needs of an FDM printer. 7" cube printing area seems like it would be enough - anyone else look at this machine? Prusa being behind this option makes me feel better lol. -d

I was pretty lazy on the hobby front this weekend - do you have this STL already? I would need to see if it will fit... to try to print it as large as possible. Before going to the cut it up route. -d

Hmmm I have a photon S - resin printer ... I’m pretty sure that size is possible... 6” x 3x3.75. I can double check exactly this weekend. It will be tight though. depending on the file - it will probably need to be angled to squeeze every mm out of it. The 2.5” dimension- the depth front to back on the printer can be limiting. But sometimes depending on the file it can be tipped just right. something to experiment with maybe -d
