I bit the bullet and bought the box set gw had come out with. I'm going to pair these guys with my space wolves. Now I just need a knight.

Can these guys be a stand alone army? Army Builder was kicking all sorts of red lines at me when I was playing around with it. Could I take the following: commissar Scion command 5 man squad + valk 5 man squad + taurox 5 man squad + taurox 10 man squad is that legal? I'd assume, with options, this would come out to around 850-1000pts?

Season 7 of Big Bang Theory: I love this show. Every episode makes me laugh out loud. This is the only show currently in production that does that. This is our family night TV. Everyone watches, everyone laughs.

Just some thoughts on the ending.

I like the guard and think it would be cool to have such a stylized force. I do think the taurox are kind of ugly though, but maybe I just need to see one in person. I can't say I have seen anyone use them tempestus stuff.

So got a recent trade where I picked up a bunch of old style models for various races. plastic single pose skaven warriors starter set bret. archers starter set bret. knights starter set saurus starter set skinks Wants: TK stuff beastmen stuff old wood elf stuff

Zombies require you to have good magic phases. If you don't, you'll suffer fairly insane losses that can't be recouped. Skeletons are much more resilient. 5+/6+ base is nothing to sneeze at. Plus you can add magic banners. Also, there isn't a reason to just do TK or VC anymore. Do an Undead list. Toss in a tomb prince into either unit and now have a WS5 unit that comes back. Also, TK magic augments are great on either unit. If you are sticking with just VC, I would recommend skels over zombies. Zombies can be used as bunkers, or 40+ units can be used as temp tar pits. If you want something to fight alongside characters, then I would go with skeletons.

Wondering if this would be a good combo for a low model count imperial army that isn't marines. Just an idea that has popped up and not sure if it would be worth pursuing. Brief thoughts?

Well for future reference, if you don't want to part it out, state that specifically. It wasn't clear by your original post that you are looking for a straight army swap. If you change your mind, I have over 100 small bugs that I'd gladly trade for some of your necrons.

I am fairly certain the rules for KoW are still available online. I also have the book and would be fine to bring it in on Sunday. It does not have the same depth as WFB has, but it is still an enjoyable wargame of pushing minis around a table and rolling dice. It will not fix the above complaints. :)

Give Kings of War a try. The rules are much simpler.

why bother running through the WM. I would think the wraiths would have an easy time killing them in melee.

It was an interesting night, that is for sure. Despite having two matchups that did not seem to be in my favor (deamons and then skaven with plenty of magic weapons + poison) the scenario let me pull in some decent points. I'm sure had they been stand up fights, I'd not have done nearly as well. Oh, and I have to pin my bone giant again...in new spots as it broke in half despite being in a foam case, and then the head popped off. Although he did pretty poorly the whole night, only ever getting one extra attack. Meh.

well it's not the video card or the memory cards RAM whatever. At this point is either the motherboard or the power supply.
