Here is the FAQ Language "An Independent Character without the Infiltrate special rule cannot join a unit of Infiltrators during deployment, and vice versa." So an IC without infiltrate cannot join a unit of infiltrators and an IC with infiltrate cannot join a unit without infiltrate. Its really stupid, but there it is.

As a TO of the Guardian cup and others, I say welcome to Tournament play! It is a fun way to meet new players and try/see new things. Since GW went the way of the Dodo for touranments, most tournaments are quite open to conversions and other models from other ranges being used for GW things. Like Mantics Kings of War or Warpath. As long as things are clear it almost always works out. The biggest thing is the modelling for advantage aspect where you model in such a way as to give you an advantage in one way or another. IMO, both of your things should be fine. If you are worried, check with the TO beforehand. P brings up a good point, if GW gets back into tournaments then they would enforce the 75% rule, but not any regular gamestore/tournament.

Each Frontline Gaming event (BAO, LVO) have many different awards. Best General 1st, 2nd, 3rd Best Paint 1st, 2nd, 3rd Best Overall (Combo of paint and General) 1st, 2nd, 3rd Each Faction has a Best Of award so Best of Tau, Tyranids, Necrons, Space Marines, etc.... There are many tracks to winning.

They had to get their own server to handle the traffic and have had some database issues as well. Looks like things are working now.

I'll get on it on Wed.

We don't have anything buttoned up, but I'm pretty sure it is safe to say that we won't be using the ITC Missions. Something like it once maybe, but then again most events have missions that have primary, secondary, and tertiary conditions.
