Hey all! This thread will be used by my awesome team to post our lists, photos of our armies, and other assorted information about us.

Team Kill! Maim! Beer! consists of:

 

@Edosaurus Rex - Ed

Hey, that's me! I'll be team captain this year and I am better known as the more handsome of the twins. This year I am bringing my Ultramarines army that is inspired by 3rd edition army lists, complete with red bolters!

@Gorgosaurusrex - Greg

Greg is my slightly less handsome twin brother, and he is bringing his 3rd edition Eldar Ulthwé army, featuring "lovely" old Eldar sculpts  (assuming he can get it painted, so we'll see). 

@PumpkinHead - Saul

Saul is the eldest of our team (and gets many jokes for it), despite not actually being that old. He is running a nice battleforce-style Tyranid army this year, so beware the swarm!

@PourSpelur - Dale

Not much is known about the mysterious Dale besides the fact that he prefers boxer briefs and has a knack for scratch-building awesome converted models. He is bringing an Ork army that actually doesn't have any Orks in it... it's nothing but custom Grot vehicles and old mono-pose Grot models.

 

I'll update these brief bios as time goes on, but for now just consider it an introduction to our team!

My goal with this army was to have an Eldar force that looks like something you'd see on a Games Workshop store table circa 2002. I think I nailed it.

Going for a list that leaves you with a meh... sort of feeling, and I think I nailed it. It's not good, but not terrible.

Nice MC list! the cheap chaff of rippers really shines this edition. i still have my doubts about hive guard. i hope the onslaught helps them get to where they need to be.

One question. Why the deathspitters over the devourers on the HT? 12 shots even at no AP is still 12 shots.

I posted the wrong list. It has been altered to get the 'old school' points. But I went with the deathspitters because it is OFCC and I wanted to try them out. Plus shooting tanks and wounding on a 4+ is much better then 5+. Hive guard are solid anti tank. For 2 CP they can shoot twice, and that is plenty of damage to mess up a tank a turn. Less rippers and more melee bugs.

It was hot. Hot and dry. Rakkit scratched some diagrams into the dirt with a half-hearted disinterest. As usual, he had no idea what he was drawing until it was almost done. "Huh, a pneumatic boot lacer...wish I had some boots. Dey'd be so supa tied. Stoopid big Mek Toolbenda never lets me have nuthin good". Even though Rakkit was just a Grot, all the cool doodads Toolbanda was showing off at the Mek konvenshun were his designs. A clatter and popping noise on the other side of the gully he was sulking in drew his attention. Peeking over a rock, he saw another grot adjusting a ramshackle machine. "Looks like a bent driveshaft" he offered as a hello to the oil stained grot pounding on some buckled steel. "Oi, dats so its can drive around corners betta." The new engineer lied quickly, Rakkit liked that. "I'm Noize, on akountta all da Noize my invenshuns make." Rakkit and Noize spent most of the afternoon tinkering on the device and talking. Both were shocked to find that the other had also been building and designing the invensions the Meks were showing at the meeting in the valley below. All the Boyz and Nobs were down there but no Grots were allowed.

Rakkit bemoaned "My Mek made me build him da fastest bike eva. Had to use a nook-lee-ar kore from a reely big boat to get enuff oompf for it." Noize paled a bit at the mention of the nuclear core and suggested making haste to the nearby caves. As the two little tinkerers scrambled pell-mell for the caves, Noize panted out "My Mek had a head full of squig beer and demanded I make im some splodin legs for da show." As the logistics of the situation began to sink in to Rakkit a small boom in the valley below echoed up the canyon walls. Quickly following the small boom, was a large..oh so large boom. The early morning sunlight immediately grew to midday, past midday directly to blinding white. Then darkness.

Some time later, Rakkit opened his eyes to find Noize standing above him. "Oi, member dem splodin legs I bilt? Dey sploded." Rakkit looked down to the valley below, the much larger than it was this morning, valley below. "All da Boyz an Nobs and Meks waz down dere." He moaned. As realization sunk in, a large gap toothed grin slowly grew across his tiny face.

Let me introduce myself a bit. I have been playing 40k since late 3rd edition and attending OFCC for probably around 8 years. I only get in about 1 game a month these days, but I have a decent handle on things. Drinking and throwing dice comes second to only the ass whooping that needs to be handed out to warhamster dollies... @VonVilkee 🙂

With about 7 weeks to go I decided to check where I was at....
