    Oh it's on sons!!! I'm getting ready, anyone else? Btw, I just read the book and used battlescribe, easy list making. Leader, 3 specialists, and rest not specialist. 100 points is the team value we'll be using.

    I played the 4 knight list, and it was my second favorite match of the whole weekend. It was almost my favorite opponent pin. Had a great time socializing, playing, etc.

    What was meant, is that three soft/medium lists and one 4 out of 5 list is fine. I agree face melting is not ok (a 5 list) but a single 4 should be ok in a team of 4. Even a 4 rated list has difficulties (horde, tanks, etc). A team bringing all 4 rated lists would be unacceptable. That's what was meant. The main thing is each captain has different options on what's a 4, what's a 3, etc. Overall, I still felt this year was just fine and delegating to captains is a scalable way to go.

    I enjoyed myself just fine without the ratings as such. I think it should be delegated to the captains to make it clear, OFCC is not about winning, You get NOTHING for crushing your opponents, and having a softer or medium list is just fine but not required. Just make sure your team is balanced and you don't have everyone bringing a tougher list.

    I enjoyed it too, my only thing was by Sunday I had played 8 games of 40k...I think I burned myself out for a while...but would totally do it again!

    You've intrigued me. Marked on my calendar, i'll try to make it. Just 25mm base size guys? I don't have any knowledge on the game at all yet, but interested for a demo/crash course.

    So I figured I'd start a thread about those awesome, shenanigan, memorable, or wild moments. Doesn't have to be about the game either (could just be a funny social situation, etc). Keep it positive, no griping or grumbling. My shenanigan: my game two was an EXCELLENT game against a great opponent. My shenanigan was being tabled turn 4, but placed all 6 of my objective markers too far away from him to get to using veil of darkness to teleport across the board to a corner in his deployment, we let the game run to turn 6 to see if he could make it, game ended before turn 7 and I won, even though I was tabled turn 4. The best part was both of us tried to advocate the other should win (Bryan helped settle rule as per the sheet). We laughed, and had a great time. Tell us your stories!

    This makes the most sense. You build your list as the rules design. Unbound=0, battalion=5+3, etc. We appreciate your efforts DC! You've got me thinking a silly unbound for giggles would be AWESOME (cause that's OFCC)!
