How do you prevent the cork from chipping? My entire Space Wolves army is based like this but after years of gameplay the painted cork is flaking off around the edges, revealing unpainted cork beneath.

I see... I started playing fantasy in 5th edition, so they hold a nostalgic value to me. That's probably why I have so many 5th edition models! I'd certainly trade in your favor if you felt like getting into Warmachine/Hordes and wanted my Skorne. I'm just trying to get a good friend of mine into 40k with a faction that interests him (Tau)! The Knights of the Realm are from the 5th edition Lizardmen/Bretonnia starter set. I'm pretty sure the character is the old Louen Leoncoeur model. I can take some pictures tonight and post them up, if you are interested. I also have some OOP Wood Elves that I would trade for the right deal. I think they are from 5th edition. I have a metal Dragon, two metal Treemen, metal Dryads, metal Warhawk Riders, and a bunch of metal Glade Riders.

Weird, the picture displays just fine for me. I have the ones in your second picture. They have Boneswords, Rending Claws, and Deathspitters on the sprue. I'll take a count when I get home!

In the grim darkness of the far future there are only white people. I totally agree with you, though. The closest they've gotten to different skin tones is the Salamanders chapter, and their skin discoloration is caused by excessive radiation!

I'd assume the Electro-Priests don't go outside much.

I'd just cast them using Magic Mold.

I have some second ed Warriors still on sprue. I think I have 6-9 of them. (At least I think they are the second edition ones - I have the ones below) PM me if you are interested!

One of the Ultramarines formations (per BOLS with leaked images) is "The Spear of Sicarius": Cato Sicarius Chaplain Command Squad 2 Dreadnoughts 6 Tactical Squads 2 Assault Squads 2 Devastator Squads Each squad must have 10 models (except the Command Squad) and must take a Drop Pod as a dedicated transport. The entire formation arrives from reserve on turn 1, and each unit disembarking may either fire twice (at different targets) or assault that turn. Pretty cool stuff. If only this formation would fit in a 2,000 point army!

This list looks like a solid 1 to me. Not being able to kill vehicles outside of Meltabombs really limits the army's potential (in a good way). The excessive use of flamers make this feel like a true Sisters force. Well done! (Just like opposing infantry will be after encountering this army)

I think the second formation looks super fun. I love re-spawning models! It would give a very "Daemonic Incursion" feel to the army.

I think a list could get a 1 if it had a Lord of Skulls or some similarly terrible Lord of War. This list is on the lower end of 2, in my opinion. I'm not sure if there's a way to get a 1 with a Wraithknight.

I've definitely had a hard time keeping up with current armies and tournament builds since 6th edition. I don't really play in tournaments anymore and only get in maybe 10-12 games a year. The release speed really makes competitive 40k unappealing as it's just too hard to keep up with... I'll stick to MTG for my competitive itch for now.
