Andrewgeddon
Hey all! So I'm wondering where do people get there magnets from, and what sizes people use? In the past I've bought a lot of stuff from Litko, but there shipping is usually pretty expensive and takes FOREVER. I'm thinking about picking up some Shogun metal trays and some magnets to hold a bunch of Bretonnia stuff to them (plastic cavalry and infantry, mostly), just looking for suggestions :) Thanks!

Justjokin
Always go local. But Amazon is an option too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TGDMPDW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

savion47
I still buy from K&J Magnets. https://www.kjmagnetics.com/ I always just check their "Surplus" section. I mainly use the ZD1 (great for holding models to metal trays) and ZD4 for projects.
dalmer
Hello there, I have made a few purchases from Magnet4less: http://www.magnet4less.com/ To give details, I purchased bulk for a 40k magnets-on-the-bottom-of-all-the-bases project for storage, detailed elsewhere on these forums. I used 5mm x 2mm or 3/16" x 1/16" or 0.1968 x 0.078 I got 1000 magnets for $ 60. Shipping was $ 74.20 but it all worked out to be way cheaper than other places. Stay safe, don
andy
Guardian Games also has a selection.

spagunk
I buy mine at NorthWest Magnets here in PDX. They tend to be really cheap and will offer discounts for bulk orders: http://www.northwestmagnet.com/ Can usually pick up 100 magnets for 15 bucks if needed. Edit: It's also a "mom and pop" type of store so for those buy local peeps, I highly recommend the place.

jesselowe
Hobbytown USA on SE 82nd and Johnson Creek (next to Bike Gallery) has a selection of neodymium magnets behind the counter. It's where I usually get mine.
scottshoemaker
I avoid "hobby" magnets as the markup is huge. A specialist usually sells them at a much fairer price with lots of variety. I use K&J, but I'll check out local.
