Zenithal priming! My #1, most favorite, best results, easy application, all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips hack. It's really good, highly recommend. Magic Wash. Specificially I use the "Les Bursley's" recipe. Podcasts. Better than bad movies and I LOVE bad movies.

Les Bursley's Magic Wash. I swear by it. Unsure if it will hold up to oil washing cleanup though. You can always do a final seal of gloss, satin or matte in my experience.

Custodes would give me the impulse to do more sculpting... They're on 40mm bases each, correct? Anyone on here that has some, is all that bling able to be shaved and sanded off?

People paint Forgeworld models sometimes, therefore painting is bad! 😉 Couldn't resist throwing some shade, only because I like Hanaur. That said LH, I've disagreed with you before but never this much. Could have been luck of the draw, could have been excellent matchmaking by the Captains but this year kinda hit the sweet spot. Paint was important, but not all-important. Missions and sportsmanship were king (imho). Long story short, I found your fears unfounded and you missed out on one hell of a weekend. Too bad, I'd love a rematch!
