Since no one started the game night thread yet, figured I'd give it a start (yes, i'll be there finally). Jeff & I are playing some Shadow War Armageddon around 5-6pm. I'd be down for a 2nd game later if people are down. Need to refresh/learn the system.

Totally agree! :) I'm not a rules lawyer, just providing perspective as it was poised to me.

Having played Necromunda, WYSWYG is huge in the culture. Being that SW:A is a necromunda spin off it makes sense to follow the culture requirement. That said, a Necron player can literally make a team with 1 box of immortals. Sure some races may require more to get the right weapons, but that's the key here. The focus is such a small model commitment, players can easily get bits (ebay), magnets, or additional models. The main requirement is because this is expected of all necromunda players previously. That said, many wargear items don't require WYSWYG outside of primary weapons (ammo reloads, etc). A lot of wargear falls under the 'stored in their pockets, etc'. Oh and i'm a HUGE fan of hostlered pistols, that was a nice thing last time I played necromunda.

Yeah, i just like being able to stick it in as they're harder to knock down and makes it easier for me to make a hole. I ended up just taking a 13th player (Marauder).

I'm building a Chaos Pact team for the tourny coming up and am torn on what to bring. My base team is 1050TV, and i can have 1100. Is 13 players worth it, or should I take 5 fan factor, or some other perk? Thoughts? List so far - 1050 Team Value: 2 rerolls 140 Ogre 150 Troll 110 Minotaur 140 Goblin Renegade 40 Dark Elf Renegade 70 Marauder 50 Marauder 50 Marauder 50 Marauder 50 Marauder 50 Marauder 50 Ugroth Bolgrot (Chainsaw Star player) 100 Also for skills, I'm torn. I'm choosing the 4 skills & 1 double skill. So far I have this: Minotaur (Claw) Ogre (Guard) Troll (Guard) Marauder (Leader) Dark Elf (Dodge or 2 Heads) Looking for input, feel free to change anything you're thinking. I was given some suggestions around Ogre taking break tackle & troll taking grab (since I don't have a side step counter).

I played it on console and beat it. Great game, but by the end very repetitive. I was surprised how much dialog was recorded. Very little every duplicated responses. It felt like Assassins Creed meets Arkham asylum

I bought ticket to ride, Catan, and splendor. All great! Carcassonne is good, but no multiplayer. Risk has some free model that can link with Facebook friend or just Google account, but meh, it's risk. Last Xmas all the days of wonder games were like $0.99 I also bought Battlore and expansion, great strategy game there!!!

My biggest issue is the reliance on models you may or may not have. Skyfire, Str D weapons, etc. The power creep exploded, and just a fun game is harder to come by. That's the rub IMO.

Selling Xbox one games: $35-Rainbow Six Siege (new and sealed, includes Rainbow Six Vegas code for Xbox one or 360) I recently upgraded to an Xbox one and looking to sell my limited edition star wars Xbox 360. Comes with custom white kinect, c3po Controller, star wars game, etc. It sells on eBay for $225+, asking $200. I will throw in up to 4 extras too. Controllers, games, charger pack and station ,etc. I'd consider trades, bundles, etc.

Anyone happen to have a PC or laptop laying around they don't want? I've got a sister in law that is down on her luck, looking for work and her pc just died. Anyways, old PC's are fine, I can even install new OS and such if needed. Let me know. If its a decent enough machine I'd be willing to trade some stuff if needed.
