Talapas Posted January 20, 2014 Author Report Posted January 20, 2014 What a emotionally draining game. Such an awesome 4th quarter. My ears are still ringing and I was wearing earplugs. Next stop NYC! Go Seahawks! 2 Quote
Munkie Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 Kaaaaeeperpiiiiiick! That game ended on exactly the note it needed to because [big bad swear word] that guy. No head phones in the world will let him hear what he wants right now.*edit* Apologies. That was inappropriate. Quote
Justjokin Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 I love that it's Seahawk fans in that commercial, although it's hard to picture Seattle fans throwing the ice chest. Quote
Munkie Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 True. They probably would've rolled the bus if he tried to shoot that anywhere north of Fife. Quote
fluger Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 And thankfully the Patriots lost today too! Quote
Duckman Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 Welcome to Pot Bowl I, home of the mellowest fans in football. As a 'Hawks fan I gotta say though... I didn't really feel like we deserved to be in that game until Kapernick self-destructed in the fourth quarter. Quote
Swan-of-War Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Kaepernick can run though, that guys got legs Quote
generalripphook Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Our defense was on fire. They were shutting down their run game and putting pressure on kapernick. He only ran because we had his recievers covered tight and he had no more options. By the fourth quarter he was probably tired so he made mistakes. Its what our tough defense does. Our offense needs to kick it into gear though. I am glad Harving is planning on playing for the superbowl. Quote
Kingpin Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Woot woot. 43-8 holy crap didn't see that coming. 1 Quote
generalripphook Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 For what? A play? Maybe two? Man but he made an impact om the game no matter what, those sweeps ,ade yardage and set up the fake to open up the middle for marshawn. Quote
sergentzimm Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Wow hopefully more, but possibly a once in a life time thing. pretty fun. Quote
Romans832 Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 My oh my, that was incredible! Quote
andozane Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 It was enjoyable seeing them dominate, then it was just sad ... Glad the Seahawks won, just wish the Broncos had showed up to challenge. 5 Quote
Munkie Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Who knew Broncos had a JV team. 1 Quote
InfestedKerrigan Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Sounds like chickens clubbed baby seals. Glad I didn't miss out on anything. Quote
JMGraham Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 So, my kids watching their first football game, they're getting set for the kickoff, I'm starting to explain the game, four tries to move the ball 10 yards, and ... Oh. Safety. On the kickoff. My kids still haven't watched an entire football game, though they have seen a televised execution. 5 Quote
generalripphook Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 It shows the difference between the power level of the AFC and the NFC Quote
Munkie Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Everyone is talking about Manning playing a terrible game, but I don't see it that way. We just gave him NO options. The only pass he could land was a 5 yard pick-up on the outside, and he did it very consistently. But when you're that far behind, 5 yards at a time isn't mathematically feasible. He definitely made some sloppy mistakes and it wasn't his best work, but there just wasn't an exploitable chink in our defense. I hope he plays again and gets back to the Super Bowl. He deserves to end his career on a high note. 2 Quote
