Rumor showed a $50 mini rulebook for sale called a 'gamer rulebook', but I don't trust the source yet, that seems high for the tiny book. And CRAP! Malindle Posted May 20, 2014 Report Share Posted May 20, 2014 So... With all the talk going on, it seems that the one thing that's not really being mentioned is the quality of the new Psyker powers. Right now, Psyker abilities are solid for one big reason; buffs. Fortune, Guide, Presience. No one is taking Coteaz to get access to an AP4 flamer, or the telekinetic "throw a rock" thing. :-P So, will new Witchfire powers actually have some teeth to them? Magical artillery in Fantasy works because you don't need to roll for magic missiles, and the big spells are seriously hurty (strength eroding armor saves is important too). If all my Pink horrors can do is have an even harder time firing their mojo, while having an increased chance to give my opponent Feel No Pain, I'm going to be a little annoyed. ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And thankfully the Tau have never brought any kind of human or xenos auxillary into their ranks? Also IG and CSM being Desperate is pretty hilarious. Wasn't that the definition of "Allies of Convenience"? Not that there was ever any competitive success with the combo but I sure like the modeling options..
